No disrespect, but in the context of what was being talked about I couldn't give a toss about your feelings on the players.... We were talking about Ange and how he wanted to conduct a squad review.

You're confused.... I made no mention of how much fans did or didn't rated him

Go back... Read properly; cos you're massively off piste here.
Underlining things doesn't add weight to your arguments.

You are confused.

My comment on the fans view of the players is exactly the point.

I'll simplify it for you with a question:
Isn't it interesting that if you'd asked Spurs fans to draw up a list of outgoings back in June it would basically mirror the current transfer list post-Ange "review"?

Your Dier comment proves my point. Any Spurs fan would have had him on the transfer list on June 1st. And now he looks to be there come mid-August.

Ange could have just read the forum and saved himself the hassle.

I already explained why your attempt to include Perisic and Gio in that bunch is flawed.

Paredes for 4 million is an absolute steal.

Sanches on those terms isn’t half bad either.

Very solid business from Roma.
I would take Paredes at Spurs for that price in a heart beat. Would be an excellent option as a ball playing 6.

It will be the same against all opposition, play a high line and look to press them leaves us open to the counter attack. We can mitigate this in the long run by having a strong defence and strength/athletic ability in central midfield.

I fear Utd won’t be as wasteful as Brentford were. Whereas we need to be a lot more clinical with our chances.
But you just switched the entire basis of the conversation. I was talking about our lack of creativity against Brentford. That was because they sat deep. We will play teams just as often, if not more, that don't sit deep giving us as much space as we give them.

Is this it now for the window then?

Surely not, Surely he hasn't played Spurs fans like absolute fiddles again?

Awfully quiet isn't it?
i love you violin GIF by Chippy the dog

He’s a flibity gibit. We need some quality and composure. Not more chaos.

It’s a gno from me.
Well, at least he can and will take on a man, and at least we know he won’t take three touches then immediately turn around to pass it backwards.

The problem is, I checked, he has the highest turnover % while dribbling in the PL, lowest take-on win %, and he loses the ball numerous ways - loose touches, bullied off the ball, diving, meh end product.

Live ball turnovers like that, where a winger is dispossessed, will lead directly to trouble with Ange’s defensive system.
