The only absolute necessary signings that we need right now, regardless of outgoings, is another CB and another striker if he really feels Veliz isn’t ready.

Would like an 8 or a 6 if Hojbjerg leaves, depending on what Ange feels would be better. Also I think it would be ideal to get a top class 1v1 winger, but I don’t know if that’s realistic since we have so many wingers already

They'll both score goals though once we feed them chances.

Richy had some half chances against Brentford but I can't think of one yesterday.

Give me a list of clear chances in these games that he's missed then I may be swayed but until then we need to accept that it's about how the role is played rather than the numbers.

I said it yesterday...I doubt Kane would have got on the score sheet yesterday.

Where I will concede is that Kane may have held up the ball better and that's fine. If we can improve on that then let's do it but bringing in someone based on goals isn't what we should be looking at.
The chances are one thing but his all round play was shit yesterday.

We need someone that can actually hold up the ball and get others into the game.

For me the priority is for a CB and dangerous 1v1 winger.

I've had a taste for a Sanchez/Dier/Davies/Lloris - less defence now and I don't want to go back to it. We are one injury/suspension away from that.

Between Son/Rich and hopefully Veliz in a few months we should have enough down the middle. Especially if we had a winger that really scared teams and pushed defenders back.

Right now we have no 1v1 threat on either side and is limiting how we can attack. Not sure if Solomon is that guy plus Perisic is only ready for cameo roles now.

Solomon beat his man with guile and ease with quite literally his first touch yesterday #jussayin

I’ve had an epiphany, I don’t think we need Gift Orban or Furuhashi type profile. The last man runner in behind who gets 6 touches per half but one is a goal is not a good fit for the Premier League, especially with our wingers.

Bring me Ivan Toney. He makes our transitions god-like and strengthens our best asset - ball control. Give me a big fucker with excellent hold up play who allows us to keep the ball.

That’s the profile we’re looking for up top. Whether people realize it yet or not.
Well I don't want Ivan Toney, Brentford would want silly money, 70/80m for someone who has only had one standout season, he's also 28 next year.

I would like to see what Gil could do in this team when he comes back from injury. Hopefully he impresses Ange enough in training to get a chance.

Brentford will want 80-100 mill pounds. Good player but he isn't worth that
I think he’d be cheaper now than what they’d likely charge in January.

Unless we’ve got someone better lined up I think it’s worth the wait and seeing how Richie & Son fare for first half of season.

Loving Orban’s highlight reels but no clue if he could have any sort of impact in PL whereas Toney is as close to a guarantee as we could hope for.

Richarlison’s movement isn’t great which is partly why he doesn’t get many chances.

He really really needs to work on that.

Of course he can work on things like that but even that isn't as bad as people make out.

He has gotten in some good positions and either the ball hasn't been played or it just hasn't fallen quite right.

It'll come but if we can find someone who can do it better then fine. As long as we're looking at those things and rather than just being blinded by goals scored.
