Son? I disagree - would rather wait and play the long game
He knows where the back of the net is though!Really?
Toney is a drop deep and hold it up guy. Brings others into play.
Maddison plays in all the spaces that Toney likes.
The thing Toney is also great at is getting on the end of long direct balls.
We don’t play those balls
Yeah we need an agile striker with good movement and finishing.Really?

How stupid do you have to be to not recognise that we are paying players millions every month that never playYou don't "agree to a mutual termination" until the window is closed. While it's open you try to find other options. How stupid do you have to be to not understand that.
I'll bet that we won't sign another cb, especially if a piece of deadwood doesn't go. I think Levy may think the Ange effect can lift all the players performances eg Davidson Balon d'Or Sanchez. But come December we might get one in...One Romero/VDV injury away from defensive disaster.
Get it sorted, bald cunt.
Indeed, def think Bambi has a future at this club. He's very much suited to Ange ballI would like to see what Gil could do in this team when he comes back from injury. Hopefully he impresses Ange enough in training to get a chance.
They'll both score goals though once we feed them chances.
Richy had some half chances against Brentford but I can't think of one yesterday.
Give me a list of clear chances in these games that he's missed then I may be swayed but until then we need to accept that it's about how the role is played rather than the numbers.
I said it yesterday...I doubt Kane would have got on the score sheet yesterday.
Where I will concede is that Kane may have held up the ball better and that's fine. If we can improve on that then let's do it but bringing in someone based on goals isn't what we should be looking at.
There's also Gil after he's recovered from his surgery. We keep talking about a winger but I seriously think Solomon is the man. He came on yesterday and looks so strong, quick and has great ability. I think another centre back and a striker that can hold it up,relatively quick and score goals. Vlahovic is that guy and get Orban in too as he can play off the sides as well.
He doesn’t sniff danger. Couple of times it fell in the 6 yard box and he’s always just not in the right place. Guys like Kane get 10 goals a season in those situations. His attitude coming off will not sit right with the manager. Ange is all about the group and being together but Richy’s reaction to coming off showed it’s all about him. He had enough time to create or score something. He won’t ever be the guy that we can rely on. He will score some goals and maybe important ones but never that 15+ goals minimum a season.Richy is not getting many chances mainly due to his movement off the ball to create space for himself is not good enough. Maybe the service to him could also be better?
We created a fair few chances yesterday and I can’t think of one for Richarlison. He has a lot to like in a striker but he has to make himself more of a goal threat if he is to make it with us
He does and it’s a great question. He knows where the back of the net is though!
Edit - who do you think would be the perfect fit ?
I'm on the Orban train personally. His instincts, from what I've seen, are top notch. I honestly think he'd take the Prem by storm, as the way AP sets up would suit him perfectly. You brought up Orban out of nowhere and then insisted I answer your question about him.
If you’re all in on Orban and believe he’s going to make the difference in his first season then I can see why you’re anxious to get him. I think the odds are against that but I’d love to see you be correct!
It's better to get rid, but since financially it'll be the same paying off the player or keeping on the bench, it's better to hold on to them. Two reasons: you might get a fee next window, or you may need to call upon them in case of injuries.Barring Ndombele - surely there's clubs that will take the rest of the players?
I don't believe in buying out contracts but also you have to pay the wages regardless.
You're losing that cash if they just sit on the bench getting splinters in their arse anyway.
