Lack of urgency is what we do. Learning from past mistakes on the other hand...
We've known for ages that Hugo wants to go, it's ridiculous he's still here. The lad shoulda been released so he could pick his next club and get a big cheque, he's earned it.
Dier is a different animal. He doesn't want to go, still thinks he's our own Puyol, and I don't think the offers have been there...at least ones appealing enough to him/Spurs.
The rest of the deadwood, it's criminal they're still here. It's them highly paid people's jobs to find them clubs, put things in place so transfers happen.
I've been silent on the Kane situation, had actually drafted a long un but never posted it for peace's sake, but I'll just say this...the way it went down was a friggin joke, made a right mockery out of Spurs (again) thanks to the powers that be.
We've had a good start, yeah...but it's just two games. And the squad still has a few big holed that I'm afraid won't be filled and it'll show in a few weeks' time. Though Dan Dan expects Ange to work miracles a la Poch, which obviously would be a big win for him...spend 25% of what you really should but get top results.
Can't just rip up contracts if the other party doesn't agree to it, it needs to be mutual.
