Again, how would a new striker change the fact that Richie has taken only 4 of our 57 shots on target?
It's a bit naive to suggest that the striker we put up top wouldn't change the way we build up in the final third. If we had a massive bustard like Lukaku up there you can guarantee we'd be putting in far more crosses, if Kane was still here you would see interchange between him and Maddison.
Ive not completely written off Richy but his lack of involvement in shots is as much if not more down to him having an average to poor touch, not great in the air and not an especially gifted dribbler or very quick. If we were to set up just to feed him in the box we would get far less team goals, we need either Richy contributing more with 3rd man runs and offering a meaningful presence in the box, or replace him with someone who can offer that.

Eventually. For this season without Europe we can get by being short in the odd position.
We don't know that. We're in a very competitive league. Newcastle look very good, as do Villa. Liverpool are still a top 4 contender. City and Arse go without saying. United and Chavs are shit but they may still come good.

Brighton can't be ruled out yet either.

I think Kulusevski was a loan with an obligation to buy - the obligation being triggered when we got CL 6 months into his loan.

No... That wasn't the case... The clause evidently transpired to have related to his 2nd season. Even Kulu himself said at the end of last season that his future was uncertain.

Secondly, it was a fixed price with the obligation clause... If it was met we wouldn't have been able to negotiate a lower price with Juve a month or so into the trf window.

We should be thankful that they brought in 3 players we needed?
Only a moron wouldn’t buy GK, CB or midfielder after last season. But that’s still not good enough, that would be good enough maybe if Kane stayed. But if you sel your best player and don’t bring in anyone after that, that’s total incompetence.
So if we had sold Harry on June 5th, you'd be ok, but because we sold him August 11th you're not ok? Even though, from the off, Ange was planning for the season without Kane?

Okaaayyy....
