"That will be activated at the end of the 2022-23 season if two conditions are met during the campaign: that Kulusevski plays in 50% of the team’s Premier League matches for at least 45 minutes, and Spurs qualify for the Champions League."

Unless we qualified for the CL last season and I missed it, the conditions were not met.

I think we agree to disagree but we did sign Kulusevski !

It seems likely that after last season's ridiculous transfer splurge, Forest need to generate some pure profit for FFP reasons.

Selling Brennan Johnson is the same move the Boehly Chav Consortium are making: selling HG players to generate pure profit on the books.

If this is so, then surely Forest will not want us to include players in any transfer package, because this would reduce the amount of profit they can record in the accounts.

Whereas we are surely highly unlikely to pay £50 million in cash for Johnson, and will only do a deal if we can include players as part of the deal.

So this may come down to how desperate Forest are to sell Johnson.
Or sell us Johnson for £50m now with the understanding they will spend £10m on Dav/Dier spread over 5 years.

Sales count straight away for FFP whereas purchases can be amortised. Spurs get a £40m deal and Forest can show £48m profit in year one

P.Groves just now as Villa concede to Burnley:

"Pathetically weak defending from Pau Torres"

He was shit against NuCastle too.

Big brave trf though. 💪

It's not because it isn't.
yeh mate Gil is phenomenal. Its only because of lack of opportunity that he's not prospered (even though he's not done anything meaningful when given the chance).

Whilst Johnson got his 8 premier league goals and 3 assist Bryan Gil managed 2 la liga goals and 2 assists in a league he's apparently comfortable playing in. The season before that he had 0 goals and 1 assist.

Currently he's a nothing player with the occasional fancy trick but lacks end product. He's the modern day Jose Dominguez. Can he improve? maybe but I very much doubt it will be with us.

For starters there is a major question mark over GLC and PEH is better than Skipp at this time.
The only question marks over GLC are from TFC posters. I doubt he'd be in Ange's plans if the manager had question marks about him.

As for Skipp, what should we do? Sell him and keep Højbjerg? Or sell him and Højbjerg and buy someone else (who would also have to be HG)?

It's quite evident Kulusevski gets a bad rap because he's not aesthetically pleasing to watch. Despite his output for us.
No way, he was getting world class shouts when he was getting good output two seasons ago, outside of the output he also contributed a lot, he carried the ball, dribbled, pulled the strings of our attack, he hasn't done any of that for a while.

Actually the payment terms for the player we sell them is NOT important for FFP.

What is brought into FFP is the annual amortisation - so if tyhe player sold was valued at £15m on a 5 year contract it would mean £3m pa amortisation in year 1 but £50m profit on Johnson
