Can we loan Spence to Leeds?

Answer part 2 - I'd forgotten Leeds back in Championship so apologies for that.

And yes looks like Spence could join Rodon on loan at Leeds

55.4.2 No Club may sign more than 4 Players on a Temporary Loan Transfer from another Club (or club) in any Season, of which no more than 2 Players may be over the age of 23. The deadline for determining a Player’s age in this respect shall be as at the 30 June prior to the Season in which the Temporary Loan Transfer is intended to take place. Any Temporary Loan Transfer which subsequently becomes a permanent transfer shall not count against a Club’s quota of such Temporary Loan Transfers for that Season; and55.4.3 Temporary Loan Transfers may include an option to acquire the Player’s registration by way of permanent transfer. Any such option must be exercised during the term of the Temporary Loan Transfer (including during a Closed Period).

Dier is hedging his bets.

Given that Sanchez and Tanganga are out the door.

No real links to any CBs, with Tosin likely to Monaco.

Davies as next in line and Dier as 4th choice. He'll then go as a free agent.

I imagine we will look to sign a CB in January.

Personally not good enough contingency planning. You can't be competitive and worry about injuries at the same time.

we should have four plus that blackburn lad as fifth

romero, micky pond, davies, sanchez, phillips

sanchez has played well during pre season (yeah, he was terrible against barna, right?)

davies has his short comings, Iike he can't pass lol, but as with the palace fella, it's not easy to get players in that are happy with a bit part.

any new signing now will be just that. hard sell, even if we are looking to shift centre backs out. it's a long old season and there's nothing stopping us from resuming our centre back birth come snowfall

Dier has 1 season left, I get he maybe wants to be a free agent but why not a loan for the last 1 year. If he sits on the bench for the season his worth will go down even as a free agent.

Tottenham may well be the team to watch between now and the end of the transfer window.

Spurs haven’t been the most active in the market as of late, but after selling Harry Kane for in excess of £100m, they do have money to spend

Links to Brennan Johnson have been making headlines as of late, but, by the sounds of it, the Welshman isn’t the only man Tottenham could bring in this summer.

Indeed, according to Sky Sports’ Lyall Thomas, speaking on Last Word on Spurs, Tottenham are still on the lookout for a new defender, and there is a mystery option that Spurs are currently considering, although, Thomas and his colleagues haven’t quite been able to figure out who this player is.

Thomas shared what he knows about Spurs’ plans.

“Spurs still have one option, I’m trying to find out who that option is and if another player has come into play. Tosin Adarabioyo is looking increasingly unlikely, Perr Schuurs is one they like, but he’s right-footed. There’s some work to do on my behalf and for other journalists out there to figure out who this option is and if it’s one we’ve already spoken about or another one who has come into play. That does happen, new players come onto the radar, yeah,” Thomas said.

Spurs have been flying so far, but there’s still that soft underbelly in the heart of their defence if any injuries or suspensions affect this squad.

Yes, Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven have proven to be a brilliant partnership so far, but if either of those two get injured, Spurs’ defence is looking very ropey to say the least.

Luckily, it sounds as though help will be on the way, and it’s exciting to ponder who this mystery defensive target could be.

Bet he'll feel silly when Dorrington is on the bench before he is.

It's the behaviour of someone that's seemingly stopped caring (inc. about his England career).....

Fulham loan makes all the sense in the world for him.
