All these past it players should have been sold at around their peaks not given stupid long contracts. Their value has plummeted due massive loss of form or age.

Dele
Eriksen
Dier
Winks
Lloris

All should have been sold when there was interest in them. 50m for dier to united, 80m for Dele to Madrid etc. Reinvested in players like eze, Bellingham etc when they were in the championship.

This is hilarious for so many reasons

It's been really quiet around Zeno Debast (Anderletcht). After the 21-22 season he was seen a possible future star and all the top clubs were supposedly after him but this summer it's been all quiet. Not even his former head-coach, Kompany, looks interested (to take him to Burnley).

He's a very good player.

He is good but so is Johnson but neither are great players. These are both players who 2-4 years ago would have been in the £25m-£30m a piece, market has lifted again and £40-60m is the mark for a decent player with room to grow.

Obviously this doesn’t include players with only 1 year left like Maddison or Bissouma, only referring to those on longer deals where the real market price is set.

There are times we will get bargains like Maddison, there are times we might have to over pay like now. That is the cost of doing business, long as the player is properly scouted and has the backing of the manager there is a good chance it will work.

This was mostly my point.

City don't need Nunes, he doesn't really suit them nor has he proven he's anywhere near their level. Yet they want to get him in because they obviously think he adds something and willing to pay way over the odds, probably double his true value to get him in.

Why are we mocked by our own fanbase for doing so?

No one thinks Johnson is worth whats banded about. But frankly, who cares. If Ange wants him and thinks he adds something for this team. Pay the money and get him in.

110M spent on Richarlison and Johnson

Spurs have been heavily linked with a move to sign Orban this month, and Fabrizio Romano even claimed last week that the striker is open to a move to North London.

However, reports that came out of Belgium a few days ago claiming Spurs have made a bid to sign Orban are wide off the mark, claims Romano.

The journalist said: “The priority is to sign an offensive player. We know they have to replace Harry Kane. They considered Gift Orban for a long time but they never sent an official bid.

“We had reports from Belgium about an official bid, it was last week or 10 days ago, but I’m told this is not true. Tottenham never sent an official bid.

“They considered that possibility, like they considered also Jonathan David who is a player they always appreciated, but they never presented an official bid.”

Forest fans seem a bit down he is off which is always a good sign.
Seems highly rated their end, they think they are getting fleeced at £50m

When you win the CL, PL and FA cup in one season and then start the next season with 3 wins on the bounce - it’s much much much easier to trust that the whole club know what they are faaaacking doing.

''RENNES SUBMIT €9M OFFER FOR TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR DEFENDER DAVINSON SÁNCHEZ''

They can faaaack off at that price, he is worth more than that and does offer cover for us - I wouldn’t sell for less than £15m
