I'm glad we have a coach that has that mindset and not the mindset of some of those who want to win at any cost.
There was an article in the Athletic a few months back that actually spoke to that. The gist was that the teams that win are the ones that have managers that play what it called "winning football" not that have managers that were focused on winning. It's a philosophy vs results model. You have the right philosophy and the results will follow. You focus only on results and you'll get frustrated more often than not.

There are exceptions, like Conte and Jose, but the majority of winning managers play winning football.

and to think peak Ange is still down the track!
This is the key and let’s get the thread back on track. This is very early days of Ange. Seriously, there will be a complete shipping not far off. The team will get over confident and ambition will outweigh talent. However, only briefly, it’ll be a great lesson. The key is to see continual improvement and someone else said it, development of players. Ange’s system takes a while to bed down, plus the fitness required for his high octane style takes time.
I did mention it earlier, what you will definitely see is a mentality of the players to absolutely run through brick walls commitment . Ange has that knack. Don’t know if it’s an Aussie thing or an Ange thing (I believe it’s a bit of both). Also, he doesn’t need superstars, he just need’s capable technical footballers who buy in to his vision. And I applaud all the positivity, I’ve been a casual follower of Spurs since the Gary Lineker days (yes I’m old).

It is xenophobic, you ask anyone outside of the inner city enclaves who isn’t white and they will tell you so. I live in Victoria and the amount of white supremacist activity has only increased the last few years, especially in the western suburbs of Melbourne, driven by young, white men. Anyway, I’m sure this all interesting for the Spurs fans on here.
I live in the Central Desert region half of the year and I tell you the native animal, insect and other species are very racist, they love eating each-other at a rapid rate.

I do like a t-shirt.

Hmm, no need to shit on Pochettino.

We finished in the top 4 four seasons running under Poch, only once since he was sacked.

If we get anywhere near that level of consistency under Ange, I'll be very happy plus maybe a trophy or two along the way.

I just want to say that I fucking love this football club and looking forward to games again and excitedly re-watching highlights from the previous game brings me so much joy. Thank you Ange, love you big guy

He joined Chelsea, fans have every right shit on him I feel.
Surprised how measured our fan base has been really. No one likes that he went there, but there isn’t exactly torches being lit and pitchforks being sold

Mind the scousers when the Fat Controller ended up there, they absolutely lost their marbles over it

Or I could be wrong and there’s a sect of Spurs fans quietly organising a public beheading shortly prior to the match when next time they come up our way

we (THFC) gave up the right for him to remain a loyal slave of this club when he was sacked for wanting to buy players to improve an ageing team. He was tossed aside as if it was his fault.
He doesn't need our permission to earn his living where he likes.
This too. The way he left kinda sucked given that whirlwind 18/19 season, although Mourinho having to first grovel and pay tribute to his metaphorical grave was kinda funny

glad you guys like Ange, i dont want to say i told you so, but...... i told you so.
TBH after watching all the spurs games so far since ange has been at the helm i have not been that impressed, which is probably a good thing for the spurs fans as there is way better football to come. at the moment they look a liitle slow and labourous going forward, Richarlison and Kulu look terribly out of place and are not dynamic enough for anges way of playing.
Ange will wont to get a decent no.9 who is super sharp and clever and another 2 wingers in.
midfield looks world class TBH, Biss-Madders-Sarr-Bentancour + 1 addition that he already has in mind.
Defense is solid just needs a new right back

Consequence of who we’ve played IMO. Brentford and Bournemouth are, safe to say, not going to enter the history books for fluid football, and for all the rapid players they have United move the ball around like it weighs a tonne
