I'm surely overreacting to an injury-forced substitution in a heavily changed cup side, but that 4-4-2 intrigued me.I wonder if they think they can convert him into a 9? Or at least someone that can cover that position to a degree.

ENIC either don't spend or spend on bad/wrong players
Spending 100m on utter donkeys Johnson and Gallagher is just as bad as not spending at all
This is a 3/10 window for me, could have been 0 if it wasn't for Maddison.
Fuck this shit and fuck every one that support this fuckery

Unless Hojbjerg has a change of heart on Fulham
Look at it this way, Karim Adeyemi is a 21-year-old Dortmund winger with 6 goals in the Bundesliga last season, and reaches the speed of 36.7kmh. Would you be happy if we bought Adeyemi for 45m? Probably.

Yeh, Vic, VDV and Solomon are all shite and you're a super-smart guy.
I'm confident that just before 11 pm BST we're going to swooooop on our target like a silent screech owl on an unsuspecting fieldmouse.Had anyone made a definitive list of the transfer window clichés yet?
I suspect it is for ins. The Hoj - Gallagher thing always felt a bit far fetched and if we're turning down offers for Sanchez and Dier wont budge then thats your lot. Rest of the day will be trying to get rid of Lloris, Ndombele and maybe Gil. Hope i'm wrong.
I don't mind if PEH stays, long as he's just used as a sub to shore the team up when we're already winning.
Similar price to Palmer, Barnes, Jota, Madueke, Gordon. All players in a fairly similar bracket of quality, all hg except for Jota. That's what you pay for good, not great, hg players with room to grow. Alex Scott was 25m, an attacking midfielder with one goal in 42 games last year (he looks really good, not slating him). Antony, Mudryk etc movinh for 85m plus with no serious goalscoring record. Gravenberch looked great at Ajax, but Liverpool just spent 40m on a guy who looked incredibly average over the summer for Netherlands u21's. Prices are crazy because these clubs make crazy money. That said, there's probably 20 players I'd have wished for before coming to Brennan JohnsonHe needs to be a star to justify that valuation, but he's talented, growth is possible there, let's live in hope.
Madison is probably our best player but he's not exactly well built. Bissouma is amazing too but he's not as big or strong as Casemiro, Partey, Rice or Rodri.Does it?
What midfield in the Prem do you think "bullies" a three of Bissouma, Maddison and Sarr?
I threw the brakes on the Solomon Hype Train after Tuesday. What's Solomon done to get in with those two? Had a couple of bright pre-season friendlies and a meh performance in the league cup?
Not saying he's bad either. But at least the other two have started to prove the 'haters' wrong by actually playing well.

Interesting how SkySports are saying that Saudi Arabia are bidding for Salah, rather than the club itself.
