The point is the kane sale should have added to our transfer budget not be solely responsible for our transfer budget.

Hope this helps you understand what people are “crying” about.

We got 100 million for Kane. Our summer transfers add up to a grand total of 162 million this summer.

I’m gonna stick my neck out here and assume that we can both agree that 162 million is in fact, a larger total than 100 million.

Christ there are some numptys roaming this forum.

Yes...you think wasting 50m on johnson was more needed than signing a 50m cb then ??

We didn't waste £50m on Johnson, that was a manager pick and he seemingly thought that we needed him more than a replacement CB, the lack of CB cover is disappointing, sure but I reckon getting Jonnson over the line took priority over the CB cover.

Best thing about this window?

The demise of SC ITK.

Those jokers took a helluva beating this window.

Ansu Fati being the best of the bunch right at the end.

There really can’t be many mugs left willing to pay for that bollox style anymore
Oh they will still pay them, all the ITK have to do is give them unrealistic expectations for who we'll get and then blame Levy when they don't happen.

They need Levy more than anyone, he keeps their scam running.

Its like fucking accident and emergency in here, fucking hell, so fucking negative….
Of course it is, the board haven't done whats required. It's as simple as that.

We can still (and I think we will) have a good season, but one injury at CB is all it takes to derail that. And they'll only have themselves to blame in that case.

All I ask for in a window is to do whats required, the literal bare minimum. They couldn't even be bothered to do that. I don't even care who the players we sign are as long as they match the profile of what we need.

Tough to rate the window now since its a huge gamble. If Richarlison can fill at least one of Kanes shoes and we are blessed from injuries, its been a very solid window. If however Sons poor form continues and Richarlison keep misfiring and goes into sulk-mode, while VdV or Romero becomes unavailable, it drops pretty fast.

Fingers crossed the gamble pays off!
We shouldn’t and can’t obsess over replacing H, it’s never gonna happen, he is and was unique…all we need to do is replace his vision and goals…in Maddison we have got the vision, goals and something H was shit at, free kicks…..in Johnson we have something else that H didnt possess., pace, lightening pace and goals….yes we need Sonny to find at least some of that form and talent he has and Richie needs to find the goals he has in him…no matter what any of you think, he is Brazils number 9, if he doesn’t have 12 - 15 goals a season in him, im the fucking pope…God bless you all✝️⛪✝️🙄…if those above cant collectively make up for H”s contribution then I’d be shocked..,,,

Iv never heard so many excuses for not being able to sell players. I mean Levybots making excuses for not signing players (we’ll do a leeds yadda yadda yadda) is a given but now we have to be forced to read about how we simply cant sell players. The only club in the PL unable to do so.

Honestly, iv heard it all now. Enough.
Your answer to everything: Levybot.
Perhaps you can explain why we still have Nicholas Pepe on our books?
Oh, wait…..

My estimate is we have spent £342 million in the last 2 years and net £184m.

Right, a new day, I've made my points about the transfer window yesterday, don't see any point in making them again, so I'll be supporting the team and hoping for the best COYS. Let's smash Burnley!

Yeah, we're such a spoilt fanbase aren't we.

We'll drop points today, Burnley will be well up for it, cross our fingers durng international break hoping key players don't pick up injuries, should beat Sheff U at home but then it's Woolwich and Liverpool. Yeah, nah, I think both games could get really messy.

The season will trundle on, some good games and performances, some bad, we'll get to Jan and there will be talk of Don Levy when he manages to sign a Bayern or PSG reject on loan at the 11th hour, after shifting out more deadwood on loans with no obligations, we'll play a weakened team in the FA cup and go out before the end of Feb, there will be some talk of making a Top 4 push but alas, lack of depth kills us and we scrape into the EL or ECL on the last day and ENIC lovers and Levy Enthusiasts hails this as a successful season.

But we've moved even further behind our rivals and now there are rumblings that players like Romero and Bissouma want CL football and here we go again.

Nothing will change until Levy and ENIC fuck off.

Where are these rumblings you speak of?

Any chance of you posting some proof?

Or is it all just complete hearsay? Like the rest of this post.
