I am pretty sure that Levy has consulted lawyers about this cause and knows the boundaries of within Paratici can operate. The disciplinary outcome confirmed that Paratici cannot be employed as a DoF or similar and that ban has another couple of years to run. It has, however, allowed him to be employed within football on a consultancy basis. We can have our moral views on this and debate them all day long. But presumably this is how we are utilising his services.
Levy/Spurs must be fully aware that using him this way will likely to be closely scrutinised and punished severely if seen to be abused. In simple terms, Levy must be confident that he is operating within the rules and using Paratici in the way he is, is lawful. I’m fine with that.
I don't ever, ever, EVER want to hear 'x club are cheats' from our fans again. Paratici has done a good job, makes sense to keep him around ... but we are very much part of the corrupt, fraudulent football world with no moral highground to speak of.
I disagree and think you’re talking bollocks. The disciplinary outcome confirmed that Paratici cannot be employed as a DoF or similar and that ban has another couple of years to run. You're disagreeubg with yourself and think you are talking bollocks? I'm confused.I disagree and think you’re talking bollocks.
Mason Greenwood and Partey (so far) haven’t been convicted of anything and are allowed to be involved in football — yet none of us would want them anywhere near our club.
On balance, I think we allow Paratici to operate as a consultant with us for a probationary period — say two years — and the minute he is involved with us signing some clown shoe player he goes — never to darken our doorstep again.
Seems all perfectly balanced and reasonable.
I know. I was just playing silly buggers with the two opposing views. You're disagreeubg with yourself and think you are talking bollocks? I'm confused.

Agreed. I imagine if a team of FIFA accountants scrutinised/audited all of the top flight teams, around half would be totally fucked.![]()
Joking aside, what Paratici did was get caught. They are all doing similar things behind the scenes, he just wasn't careful enough. Just like Big Sam, he got taped and screwed.
I don't think this warrants anyone getting emotional over. It's a white-collar crime and I don't see any victims.
I imagine if a team of FIFA accountants scrutinized all of the top flight teams, they would have to give 50% of the bungs they received to Gianni ‘Today, I am an accountant’ InfantinoI imagine if a team of FIFA accountants scrutinised/audited all of the top flight teams, around half would be totally fucked
I find the situation with Paratici to be bizarre. He is banned of football so he continues to work for us in a consulting role and Uefa is completely fine with it?
If he keeps bringing Udogie and Sarr types, I couldn’t give less of a fuckI find the situation with Paratici to be bizarre. He is banned of football so he continues to work for us in a consulting role and Uefa is completely fine with it?
