Great foundational game to continue building on - did what he said he was gonna do. Went at them at their place. Confidence building for everyone. Just the beginning too!

I don't want to hear any excuses from other managers saying they need time and money to get their ideas across to their players, what we have seen with Ange is that he needs neither just to get his team playing. He's put a lot of managers to shame including our previous ones in the way he's got his team playing after a short amount of time. That's what's so impressive - it's as if Kane never existed and he's given the players an air of responsibility and it shows - he's a top manager.
Is a nice way to know who he considers our big games innit. And to top it off, he scrubs up pretty well in a suit and tie.
Ange is something else. We had a terrible pre-season, Kane left days before the first game of the season. His new starting CB arrived days before the first game, basically an entirely new starting 11.
The man has already got us outplaying this Arse "title challenger" team. He's delivering style and results on the pitch and boatload of class off it.
Nah, he's already said it was shit.Personally, I think if you ask Ange, the pre-season was probably perfect for him in terms of squad harmony and building what we see now.
Did not age well.Off the back of a season where he looked completely shot, a pre-season where he still looked completely shot and league games where he looked completely shot. And on Saturday, he tried but failed. So really, 1 game in a while where he really made a massive impact. Am i wrong to still be concerned? I don't think so.
Maybe Ange is going to do what not many other coaches in world football do and make a captain a non-guaranteed starter?
We are learning to play without fear after 4 seasons of fear football. I say 'we' because the fans need to trust them and allow occasional mistakes without crucifying the players. So many times today I shouted “just kick the ball don’t play with it.” But I’m glad Ange insists on it even with all the risk. Proper football we are playing. In just 3 fucking months.
press conference when someone asked him about the "honemoon phase" he was like "how shit is your honeymoon? I had a shit pre-season and a club legend left... etc. etc. thats not a honeymoon, my honeymoon was great" You can find it on youtube.
He didn't - the doomsayer is talking shite as usual.
I genuinely think he will change football on a wide level. When any new paradigm comes in, it always appears so obvious and we wonder why we never thought of it before.I swear I've never been so captivated by a manager.
When Madders lost that ball there all I could think of was the Ange quote where he said he was pleased his CB lost possession cos it showed his team were being brave.
I'm fully lapping it up, there is not a more romantic approach to football games.
