Morgan Freeman Reaction GIF by MOODMAN

Reading Woolwich Mania (don't ask my why I'd do such a thing) and their common talking points are...

  1. They're celebrating a draw when our whole squad was injured.
  2. Liverpool will do them this weekend and send them back to mid-table.
    1. "If I was a Sp**s fan, after seeing what Saka did to Odogie in the first half of the NLD, I'd be worried seeing him lineup against Salah this weekend. :shivering:" - Malky
    2. "Their humbling will just come a week later than expected. I don't think Liverpool will be as generous as we were. Their reality check should begin this weekend." - Batman
    3. "They're about to get their first league defeat of the season on Saturday, courtesy of Liverpool." - Sapient Hawk
  3. "The 2 best teams they've played are an Woolwich that gifted them 2 goals they would never have scored on their own and possibly the worst Manchester United side in 30 years." - Batman
Regarding injuries, Bentancur, Perisic, LoCelso, as well as Brennan and Maddision pulled off with injuries all say "Hello!"

Pretty sad they're forced to root for Pool to do what they couldn't in their own house.

They might want to re-check that "gifted goal" tally from Sunday. I'm sure if Jesus had scored after picking Maddison's pocket, that would've been a class, deserved goal, but when Jorghino gets robbed, it's a gift. I see no gift whatsoever in the first Maddison to Son goal of the game. The Romero handball and Own Goal both had a bit of gift giving to them.

Lastly, isn't their best win of the season against United? Guess that same result only counts for Spurs.

We do get under their skin don’t we:ange-hmm:

They're all going on about the CL music like it was composed by Mozart ...

It's an advertising jingle at best, and players (not just theirs) lap it up and laud it like it's the reinvention of Classical music!

It's a fucking THEME TUNE FFS!
I'll be fair: it's a nice theme song and I was happy to hear it when we lined up in the CL for the first time under Poch.

But the thing is, it's diminishing returns after that. If you're qualifying consistently then it becomes routine. Says a lot about how long the cunts have been out of the competition.

:ange-bored2:

Truth … personally I can’t stand that jingle one iota

I like what it signifies … but the tune itself grates

Sky Sports going on about how they are just missing that top striker? Maybe the weirdo cunt should have spent some of his gazillions on a good striker and not havertz then. He gets no criticism at all for this
Their problem is in midfield I think. They create fuck all. I think Odegaard is good and in a different structure (they are engineered to not have the ball high up the pitch and base their game on pressing high to gain turnovers or win set pieces, corners and FK outside the box) like ours his open-play creative numbers would be far higher. I think without the ball they are good :

But you're right re Havertz. Jesus too!!! Although he suits their pressing (and is crucial to their high-press) but is and has always been total shite in front of goal, as evidenced at the weekend - presses really well, wins the ball high off Madders then balloons it over the bar.

Yeah, I think alot of their players over performed last season and it's showing this. Martinelli is never going to hit the same heights. Nketiah is never good enough. Jesus can't be relied on. Xhaka had an all timer and is now gone. Partey is a rapist. Odegaard has shown Inconsistencies this season and they can't seem to keep a cleansheet to save their life.

Rice is a good player. But it will prove to be a pointless signing if they don't improve overall this season when they have other quite glaring issues.

Feel abit like us post 16/17 - we hit heights we hadn't and it was always going to be tough to maintain it. Especially considering that year (like last season) plenty of top teams underperformed.
