Yeah, I’m not super optimistic about this one, but I’m also not filled with existential dread either like I usually am.

Maybe I’m underestimating them, but apart from Salah i honestly don’t fear any of their forward line. Nunez despite hitting a bit of form is a donkey. Gapko pretty average. Jota incredibly injury prone and Diaz is decent, but a bit of a one trick pony. Defensively they can be got at too. They certainly ain’t the Liverpool they once were with Mane, Frimino etc

Nunez is an athletic donkey. Basically that no skill fast kid that can run and score and that’s about it.

Gakpo is very average all around.

Jota is a really good squad player.

Diaz is definitely dangerous, even if a bit inconsistent.

Salah is good but he’s not salah from 2 seasons ago. Similar to son. Can have moments of brilliance, enough to win a game, but won’t dominate a game for 90 minutes and needs his teammates to put him into favorable positions.

Prime Mane and prime salah were better than any of their options now.
