We head north to the Etihad Stadium to face a City side who, like ourselves, are keen to establish a firm footing in the upper reaches of the domestic standings.
We have never lost a Premier League game which Lewis has started, but the 23-year-old German international insists: “It’s going to be a tough game.
“It’s a match between two opponents that like to play attacking football and I think it’s going to be a great game to watch.
“It’s going to be the details that decide the game.”
Sunday’s trip to the Etihad marks our first Premier League outing since the 1-0 home defeat to Newcastle United at White Hart Lane and, naturally, we’ll be chasing a return to winning ways against our highly-rated hosts.
And with everyone back from international duty, Lewis insists the mood in the camp is upbeat.
“Absolutely, we’re positive,” added Lewis, who has been directly involved with seven of the 14 goals we have scored while he’s been on the pitch this season. “We need a result after the disappointment against Newcastle and it’s important to win this game.
“Everyone will be trying their best to win a top game like this.”
