I was talking about Cash not being in the squad. Roberts could still sort him out now.Nah, course he won't. Must be nearly 65 now!
Shame though - I don't think he would have any problem in sorting Cash out!

FWIW here’s the link to the match thread at the time of the tackle.
Match - Spurs v Villa Sunday 26 Nov 2pm
These calls just feel arbitrary. Thank fuck our way, this time.thefightingcock.co.uk
Whilst there are lots of posts about Cash being a cunt and it being a bad tackle, not one poster in the immediate aftermath says it’s a red (one says Romero got sent off for less though).
This is how you know subsequent events have influenced perception of the tackle.
Anyway, back to work for me.
It isn’t meaningless.
The review of a foul is based on the foul alone, not the result, not the injury.
It’s clear from reading the last few pages that both of those factors (plus the general poor refereeing decisions we’ve had recently) are affecting people’s assessment of the tackle.

The treatment of ours players is a fucking disgrace. Every game it happens.
Literally none of those say it’s a red (other than the one that says “2nd yellow or red”). All they’re saying is it’s worse than Romero’s tackle - which is commentary on their view of his red, not the Cash tackle.I guess you didn't look very hard......
...Probably others on evidence and of course not everyone posts in the match thread for every game.
- The first got 12 agrees. (Remember Romero's was all, but universally accepted to be a red.... Even if some insisted it was harsh)
- The last clearly thinks a yellow was insufficient.
You started off arguing that fans are only arguing cos of the outcome, but no result nor injury status was known at this time.

What are you talking about?!![]()

Yeah mate. A shoulder barge is completely comparable
I already explained sufficiently....
"Remember Romero's was all but universally accepted to be a red.... Even if some insisted it was harsh)"
If someone thinks Romero's was a red and thinks Cash's was worse ; then of course they think it should have been a red too... That's just basic fkn logic.![]()
A lot of the people you quoted didn’t think the Romero tackle was a red.
One of the 2 quotes you provided that say it’s worse than Romero’s is from Richard Arlison. I post 5 times a year on here and even I know he was outraged at the Romero red.I already explained sufficiently....

They realised that laughing at an injury probably put a target on their backs that they can’t live with and don’t want the same to happen to them and derail their seasonIt is amusing how they have dug up all of romeros late tackles on twitter.

I'm sorry but no. We are not looking for referees to consistently get their calls wrong, we want them consistently right by the laws of the game. I don't care if 99% of "Cash type tackles" only get a Yellow, all that means is that 99% are wrong. You can quote the rule book all you want and I won’t dispute what you’re saying is written within that, but the application of any written laws are just as, if not more important than what’s on paper.
You will rarely find any tackles like Cash’s that result in red cards. I’d personally prefer they did, that’s just not how refs interpret and apply the law today.
He’s not out of control, it’s not studs up. The Romero VAR check before his red was worse, and that wasn’t given upon review.
If what we’re really striving for is consistency of refereeing there’s nothing wrong with Cash getting a yellow because that’s how the law is applied 99/100. If you look at, say, Son’s penalty against Brentford or Nketiah‘s challenge on Vicario, they’re cause for a lot more concern on refereeing standards and consistency.
If we won the game and Benta played on unhurt we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

And do fuck off Bent you miserable Gooner!
Tell me something new regarding us this season. None of our squad getting any protection at all. That was me. Was true then, still true now.
Red card all day. Referee failed in his responsibility to protect the players.
Anyone offering excuses for the tackle or lack of red card is in denial of the truth.
