He added: “It is a hamstring injury. I don’t how many weeks, but it is going to be some weeks. The timing is not good, because we are playing a lot of games in December, key games for us. But normally injuries come at the worst time. That’s what has happened now with Lloyd.

I doubted we would go for him again and now definitely not if he is injured. It will be a good miss.

Have been thinking about it since rumours emerged last week but actually not against Tanganga coming back in, under circumstances.
Initially I wasn’t at all keen and thought it would be a huge backwards step.
However, IF we look to sign a CB and agree to let Dier go on a free, then Japhet as a 4th choice till rest of the season I don’t feel is the worst idea.
For clarification I think we need to sign a new CB but I think Tanganga a)isn’t getting game time in Germany anyway, b) is more suited than Dier to Angeball, c) will be on significantly lower wages than Dier.
We can then move on in the summer by which time Phillips/Dorrington could be more viable options in Postecoglu’s mind for 24/25 season - particularly if we can secure Dorrington a loan in Jan.

He's crap, sell/loan him

He's had 27 games to prove himself - which he didn't.
But I would recall him and lend him out to an English club - where he would get game time.

He played left back against the oil riggers and we won 2-0. Left Back. But that by the by, injury and the lack of a run of games back to back has massively hindered his development.

The last four years haven't exactly been conducive to our youth set-up. He's another one that has fallen through the cracks

Plenty of ITK....of ITK words....

PROF on COYS

As much effort will to be made in moving players out as bringing new ones in, although whether moving players on is a feasible goal remains to be seen. Of course, outgoings are not as exciting as incomings, however we have a plan for the summer window which, to be viable (from a squad size perspective), requires a non-trivial number of outgoings.

Ange's January 'In' list is relatively short and contains players for positions that any Spurs fan would predict (eg CB). A couple of the targets seem (to me) to be unlikely for the January window - more likely/less unlikely in the summer; one or two others are feasible. Biggest debate within the THFC brains trust at the moment is whether there's a need to bring in another ACM in January.

Such vague bullcrap, anyone of us could have said this.

Which players would we be hoping to move on?

Dier? but that's far from urgent because it would be for peanuts at this stage of his contract.

Hojberg? doubt very much they are pushing to get him sold considering how hard it is to get a replacement in January.

GLC? See above

Sess? Will he even be fit enough to move on in January?

Gil? This is the only one I can think that has resale value and we might be looking to move on.

Veliz? on loan maybe but hardly a prioroty.
