I rated Posto a 7.5. He picked Gil ahead of Hojbjerg who settled things down authoritatively when he came on at the start of the second half albeit after a rusty start.
The playing out from the back caused us problems in the first half with no CBs and a pressing City that was dangerous and we were lucky City were wasteful and the woodwork got in the way.
I still rated Posto high but not as high and gushy as some.

on him tonight. that front 3 is fucking toothless against a side that are happy to flood their own box. johnson and son dont have the nous to deal with it. kulu was shit but give him a target in the box and hed be useful. then when he does put a box threat on he takes off the bloke who was ticking for us in midfield for a champo player....poor!
 
Why does he play so narrow against parked busses? We only scraped past Liverpool from a last minute Porro cross that should have come 20 mins earlier.

I was worried before this nightmare started at how few goals we were scoring and now this is becoming a problem.

It was easy on the the eye but I'm not happy with this run now.
 
Naive. Get away with gung ho football in Scotland and Asia you get found out very quickly at the top level. Teams have sussed let us blow ourselves out at the start of the game and stay in it. After that they're out of energy and out of ideas.
 
Wasn’t Backed . Got Sacked . That will be the story. Sacked by Christmas as Kane was sold and not replaced and too many players still at the club that are sub par . A complete disgrace . The same story with three managers in a row . Levy has to go
 
we simply can't keep losing. He's done a very good job prior to chelsea but when does it become an issue that we are continuously losing games??

I'm also not particularly sold on Son being captain. I said when he was made captain he was an odd choice but I could see the benefits with his relationship with other players but I also said I didn't know how he would be during a blip.

Thing is, if we are being totally honest he sort of goes into hiding.
 
said the son captaincy was a problem because he wont rotate him like he should. waste of a shirt in games like tonight when they just get numbers behind the ball. ange ball sees the ball out wide around the edge of the 18 yard box and we got nothing in the box to make it count....
