United seem to struggle with finding captains over the last 10 years. Solskjaer even mentioned it when he did his first big interview post being fired.

He went with Maguire because he was more or less the only player that was willing to take the flack from the fans, and the rest of the squad was not willing to put themselves within the line of fire like that.

That should be as massive a red flag as anything. You shouldn't have to make someone a captain because they are willing to take abuse.

Having 9 wins out of 16 with that GD is a complete fluke. They’ve won 8 games by 1 goal and 5 of their 7 losses are by 2+ goals.

That’s a statistical anomaly to have avoided any draws and won 8 games by 1 goal (and only 2 losses). They should be on about 20 points.

If they keep playing the way they are, they’ll finish 10th.

He's a right twat and proper overrated player. Still surfing and getting paid on that good spell he had when first joined...but that was many moons ago. Wouldn't sign him if he came for free

Wolves were robbed of a clear pen when Onana punched their striker in the head IIRC.

Sure if you reviewed their other home games, you'd find more dubious decisions going those mugs' way. The good old Theater Of Dreams effect...
