Probably more likely they'd move to the Major League. Lower wages than in SA, but from a daily life perspective, it's night & day. It's a good point, but that doesn't mean we'll be directly competing for the same players, nor does it mean the market will remain inflated.
Who knows how many players the new manager would want? If he needs to rebuild in his own image, that £200M would need to be spent wisely, as they don't have too much more wiggle room with P&S. They may see more need for frugally astute buys, rather than direct 'like for like' replacements of those 2. FWIW, I can't see VVD going to Saudi, not if he has a chat with Henderson first. Salah might, but he's been living a Western life for decades now, would he be any different?
It is an interesting question though, which only time will tell on.

Brentford's Nusa signing in doubt due to deal complicationsBrentford’s Antonio Nusa signing in doubt due to deal complications
Brentford’s proposed signing of Antonio Nusa from Club Bruges has been thrown into doubt by some complications in the deal.
An agreement was found between the two clubs and with the 18-year-old Norway international, who favoured Brentford over a host of sides after their long-term pursuit and plan for his development.
But the transfer has not yet been finalised and appears to have taken a backwards step, potentially opening the door to a late push by other teams.
Equally, there is a strong chance the winger does not move prior to Thursday’s deadline and the matter is readdressed before the summer.
Despite interest from Premier League rivals including Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford emerged as his preferred choice.
Securing such a highly-rated talent would have been an impressive recruit for the west London side.
In light of this development, however, it is unclear if Brentford’s acquisition will come to fruition prior to the winter market closing.
Yeah that’s exactly what's happened you crazy fox....
I know its petty but I kind of hope we have moved on.Says there are complications in the deal.....
... never mentions the complications in the story
Fantastic journalism

Well if he thinks Spurs are too big of a jump and wants guaranteed game time, I don't see how any deal is going to work unless we're loaning him back out all of next season.
