Exactly ! Why not just fucking play a midfielder there and use Sarr to provide cover say at rb. As it is both the FBs are nowhere to be seen when the oppo have the ball out wide. They always have to run from infield to wide area playing catch up. If they are in those wide areas in the first place then oppo don’t have space to play the ball there and out FBs don’t have to expend energy having to sprint out wide to close down.

Spot on! I will despair if spend any big money on CG when we need a FB and attacking magician. What we also need to really promote some of the top academy players. Always think having some academy players in the team helps with the passion in the team.
