After Thursday’s bizarre choice of Kulusevski in midfield and 2 subs that managed to weaken 4 positions, today saw more inept selections.
Son’s been absolutely atrocious for months as a CF. Johnson is incredibly limited, but if he has any use it’s down the right. Richarlison is a blunt weapon, but at least the ball can occasionally stick and he can be a nuisance.
I also don’t understand why try Kulusevski (v Chelsea) Bentancur and Sarr as 8’s and not Lo Celso, who is an 8, and is more creative.
These forwards are so bad that even when Liverpool downed tools and said help yourself to the buffet, they still spent most of the time tripping over themselves.

Started well, as in for five minutes. Liverpool were content to let us pass it around for a bit then decided it was time to wipe the floor with us.
Richarlison, Madders and Skipp came on when the game was lost but Richy up top with Son on the left, BJ on the right and we finally looked like we knew what we were doing. It helped that Richy busted a gut. Of course, Liverpool were 4-0 and cruising but at least it was something.
Richy makes it 4-1. GLC comes on and we look better still. Of course, this is all tempered by the fact Liverpool have already won, but Son makes it 4-2. Before we know it BJ gets kicked in the head in the box, but VAR sees a lilywhite shirt so play on.
Liverpool remember we are utterly shite and almost score a fifth. The game ends. Klopp does his cringe chest beating. TFC meltdown.

Our players gave up after Chelsea, unforgiveable, they stopped following the manager's instructions and weren't playing how they should be playing.
That's why my head was gone lol and that's probably why he was so pissed off.
Today we didn't give up, we were just shit for the most part, still he would have taken something from the little fight back, at least it tells us there's some life in the team.
What forwards could fix us in theory we could buy inn the summer.
