It's not a fucking contradiction. Me not rating our forwards isn't contradictory to the fact Ange chose some of them. Me thinking Son needs replacing (due to age) isn't contradictory to the fact he has contributed to lots of goals and us going in to the market and finding someone else to do that isn't an easy task. He needs replacing as he's hitting his wall.
It's just pure cope, fans do this because they don't want to be let down when perceived bad moments inevitably happens so they sit in a permanent state of misery and negativity and self depreciation so when something positive happens to the club they can ack shocked and surprised

Problem is that there hasn't been many of those positive things happening to the football team at this club for a loooong time.
I'm intentionally deluded about the chances we have of positive things happening, it's up to the club to actually show a lot of these fans that they can achieve positive things.

I's say its verging on shit if your sacrificing any sort of defensive shape/stability. If your whole spiel is that you're an attacking coach and you don't particularly care about defending set pieces then i'd definitely expect us to be higher than 7th for goals scored.

We look like we've been given a vague instruction that anyone could come up with.
We looked coached in Poch's 2nd and 3rd seasons.
We looked coached in the 2nd half of Conte's first season.
What we're seeing now is an idea at best. An idea that if players are in a certain position and keep passing, eventually they'll just miraculously score.
The idea seems to ignore the fact the opposition have had a season to see it and adapt to it. Coaching would entail us making tweaks and doing something different to yet again make the opposition think.
What Ange is doing isn't really that different to Conte in his 2nd season. It might look different, but they were/are both very guilty of not changing anything. Conte picked the same players no matter how bad they were. That hurt us.
Ange is playing the exact same system no matter how exposed it looks.
