FWIW the result be whatever it is and the champions will have won the league over their performance in the league through 38 games. It won’t be bcos of tonight. We could have been a better position if our manager had motivated the players over the last 2 months like he should have. It’s only our own fault we are now in this scenario.

But those managers you’ve mentioned, Emery failed miserably when he has made the step up to a top club. (Look at the state of him at Woolwich) Tuchel would be another Conte and Poch’s time has come and gone, we should have backed him, we didn’t, we reached a point where he had to leave. Period.
I believe we could have appointed a better manager than Ange last summer, I doubt he was any higher than 5th, maybe 4th on the list, but the last thing we need is another ENIC led managerial merry go round of bullshit this summer, with another patsy appointed and another “rebuild”. Would you have any faith in them appointing the right man this time? I certainly wouldn’t. They’ve had 5 years to do it since Poch and the incompetent half wits have failed every single time.
Despite recent criticism I think Ange has shown enough to warrant another season. It’s just far better than the alternative.
