Yeah fair enough, however all of the talk was about us potentially having a chance to qualify for the Champions League had we won. It was still out of our hands as we would have been relying on Villa to slip up on the last day.

Regarding the Europa League, we always had the chance to qualify for that on Sunday where we now just need a point. Surely we won't mess that up....!!

I agree 5th is solid enough to get Ange a second season. The doubt in my mind is trajectory, as you say. Outside of the first ten games, it's been pretty poor, even with players returning. Even then, I still said to give him next season.

But what I got from the presser was big time end days Jose/Conte. The "I'm great and you'd be great too if you just followed my lead." He doesn't have the track record to pull off that act, Jose and Conte won major honours. So instead, it just feels like deflection from losing games and making poor selection decisions. That's what has made me think that the trajectory isn't going to change and Ange ends up sacked after about 15 games next season.

As I stated earlier the problem with our second half of the season is tyhe injury problems in Midfield and Attack

Richarlison has been injured since his bright purple patch.

Bissouma had Malaria at the Afcon.

Pape came back from Afcon with a back injury.

Bentacur is still recovering from an ACL.

Maddison is still recovering from an ankle injury.

Los Celso gets injured every time he is asked to play more than 20 Minutes.

How you can even equate this to past results and what Levy has done or not done is astonishing.

I have no idea what your expectations were for this season but I wager right now he's exceeded them but because he's called "us" out for doing exactly the thing he's called us out for you are losing your shit and can't accept it because we can't defend set pieces!!! Exactly. What a shock, a club that is one of europes biggest and has a trophy winning history, has a fan base that demands success.

It’s not us fans that are the issue. It’s the owners, managers and players that need to step up and deliver. If not, piss off somewhere else and have an easy life.

As a fan base I think we are actually more tolerant and patient than most other clubs our size.

As Kane said, losing two games in a row at spurs was not the end of the world.

Yes we've had injuries but they're a direct consequence of the chaos-ball football we play which constantly leaves our players having to sprint back making last ditch tackles.

Also we will have plenty more games next season, so our injury situation is only likely to get worse not better.
