You literally said you wanted to sign someone on loan the other day 😆

Because Xavi Simons is really fucking good.

I want to sign him on loan because he does scare the world.

I would prefer we sign him permanently but if the loan meant we could sign another 2 world scarers and still have his squad place open for him on a permanent or another worldy later on.

Are you really too simple to understand the difference?

Do you know what kind of clubs sign players on loan deals?

Small clubs.

I probably optimisticaly think we'll shift quite a few. We have actually had some pretty decent loans Rodon, Parrott, Tanganga, Reggie and Spence. A few last years of contracts which means we have to deal for Hojbjerg, Davies and Lo Celso. The variables will be if we're prepared to cut our losses on Gil, Emerson and Richie. Ndombele impossible, just have to hope we can loan him again and Solomon and Sess tricky due to injuries.

Signing Werner made us a small club?

Man UTD have loaned plenty of players. Tevez being one.

Odourguard was a dry loan to the scum to start.

You are a wasteman

Werner was necessity cover for 2 injured players, lame comparison

Utd loaned Tevez because he planned to retire shortly after, lame comparison

Odegaard you can have.

The fact that you used 3 loans over a 10 year period is hilarious and proves my point even further.

Lame.

For funzies and because no one cares, here are my guesses for the window -

For sure out: Emerson, GLC, Gil, Sess, Davies, PEH
Out if the fee is right: Bentancur, Kulu, Richarlison, Bissouma

I think we will but an out and out striker and depending on if Timo is signed I could see maybe a winger. I guess it depends on how much Ange trusts Solomon to provide cover. I also think we will get a midfielder that's a little more hard nosed that we have now.

Tevez was 23 when he joined Man United. Please stop posting bollocks. United have loans all the time, pretty much all clubs (except City?) have done them in recent times.

I typed 3 bc I cbf’d to type more.

You’ve admitted you were wrong. We can move on.

Simons on loan would be fucking shrewd.

We should only consider loans if there is an option or obligation to buy.

We shouldn't be in the business of developing other players' clubs for them... especially when we have youngsters of our own who could do with Europa League minutes this season.

Been watching him more since we’ve been linked with him and he’s better than I thought. I know it’s the Dutch league but he’s quicker than I thought over the first 5 yards, brilliant left foot, can finish but what he is very good at is bringing other players into the game.

Heard the comparisons with Jansen but looks much better.

Big jump from the Dutch league to here but he’s got that Argentinian/Mexican tenacity about him too. Not against it but always a gamble from that league as you’re never sure what you’ll get. I suppose that’s the same with any player coming to England.
