We had Lineker playing CF for us when we won the FA Cup in 91. He was much more of a clever movement type of forward. Wasn't rapid
He was really fast.

in the same way that Mikey Moore is PL proven...
Good point.I was also keen on Kudus but cooled my interest when reading all the negatives about on Ajax fans forums - which shows that one can't always trust fans' judgement of even their own players.
Interesting selection. And I agree we desperately need an upgrade on the right. I had high hopes for Kulu but that's now two underwhelming years and he's starting to look like a bit of a square peg in this system. I'd be open to selling both him and Brennan for the right price. And Spurs really need to replace Kulusevski wide right with a faster and better dribbler. I'd choose from these players but I do have my concerns about all of them:
Johan Bakayoko, Matìas Soulè , Mohammed Kudus (most probably too expensive now), Estevão Willian (still only 17 so he won't be EPL ready for 1-2 seasons and is basically set for Chelski anyway), Takefusa Kubo (not sure if he handle the hustle and bustle in the EPL)
Agree, so long as it doesn't hurt our search for positions we actually need. Which we all know it will.I’ve warmed to the idea. Mainly because they are going to ignore FFP anyway so we wouldn’t be helping them. And secondly because they are playing well now and he’s a really important part of that.
It's a bit strange our fans still hanging onto this narrative as if Gallagher is some scrub with no tekkers when we saw what he did to our midfield with a supposed higher technical level a couple of weeks ago, we couldn't get near him, more to the point some of our players have gone missing in these past few weeks but Gallagher has always shown himself for them even when they weren't playing well.
This is totally unrealistic but here is my dream:
In: Gimenez (45m), Eze (60m), Soulé (35m), Gallagher (45m)
Total: 185m
Out: Richarlison (40m), Hojbjerg (20m), Royal (20m), Skipp (10m), Gil (12m), Solomon (loan with option), Sessegnon (loan with option), Spence (loan with option),
Total: 102m
Net: 83m
The ins all feel possible. It’s the outs which are challenging. I think if we can get those players out for decent fees then we can bring those players in.It shouldn’t be unrealistic if we are a club that is serious about challenging.
Lineker is up there with Walker,Lennon and Bale pace. He was lightening.
Thing is, both those 2 were there for the taking . And Palmer was kinda EPL proven. I was also keen on Kudus but cooled my interest when reading all the negatives about on Ajax fans forums - which shows that one can't always trust fans' judgement of even their own players.
For the summer TW window it's a bit less clear but if Leeds won't get promoted I'd go for Archie Gray and Summerville - or Désiré Doué. I doubt Spurs have a chance to get Nico Williams or Kvaradona).
Archie Gray and Gallagher could be a good idea I reckon.

You can't compare those 2 cases at all. Palmer is older and had a few EPL games already and he had Bernardo Silva and Foden in front of him - two of the best left-footed attackers in the world. And in CMF he had de Bruyne, Silva, and Foden to compete with.

Title oddsChances of Spurs fans being happy with a transfer window?
0.01%?
