Think our striker will be that Gudmundsson. They'll work out a kinda part exchange deal with Genoa where we get him for less than the 30-40 mil bandied about previously and they get Spence for reasonable dosh. I just feel it's written, honestly can't see us go get a Gyokeres, let alone Isak.

Eze we'll probably do, for a ridiculous amount of money just to keep the fanbase happy with at least one big deal. But if it's my cash, no way I'm spending 60 mil on the kid...and I do like him.

Other needs will be covered a la Werner or via loans with options.

As much as I wanna be wrong, I just don't see Levy do what he's never done in nearly 25 years. Danny Kelly said as much on LWOS...Woolwich needed a 6? They went and spent 100 mil on Rice. Liverpool needed a goalie and CB? Boom, Alisson the most expensive GK and Van Dijk the most expensive defender. When Harry needed backing? He got Saha and Nelsen. Poch? 18 months without a signing (still can't believe that happened) then got utter dross. Jose & Joe Rodon. Conte and Djed. You get the gist.
Woolwich's board wanted to get back into a winning position, they are prepared to back the management with those type signings.
There is no way that, levy changes tack and does the same, we are probably ending up with more signings squeezed into a tight budget.
Pointless anyone getting excited about, something that will not happen, it's tough for many to take unfortunately.

This guy was bang on about Porro when we were linked last year.

Translates to us wanting Vanderson from Monaco to replace Emerson and we've spoke to Monaco.

Can see why we're linked. Very similar profile to Porro.

I’m with you except on Gudmondsson, I think he’s on some rape or doesn’t domestic abuse charge. We won’t touch that imo.

Guirassy is cheap and worth a shot for me

Even before that , apparently Conte is after him again also

I think Gallagher is generally so under-rated. He can do a bit of everything and will get better. He presses like a monster. He's consistent. Has a goal in him. Puts in tackle after tackle. I think he's one of those players that will only get truly appreciated if he plays for your team. If he was a yard quicker he would be brilliant.

If both are achievable then we really should be signing both Gallagher and Eze.

Been in that stadium for 5 years or so now? Start using it to do what it's there for and make the team as Levy said, one of the biggest clubs in the world.

Maddison, Eze, Gallagher, Bentancur, Son, Romero, Van De Ven, Porro this is the level now Spurs. If you want them, get them so long as they are there for the taking.

Ederson seems like a good option as well. Absolutely no reason why if they are of interest we cant blow teams like Atalanta out with an offer.

Look at the level of player Woolwich were buying in Artetas first few windows- it wasn't until the Rice deal that they pushed the boat out, outside of that they have been shopping in the same market that we have

Vanderson would be a good signing to be fair, reminds me a bit of Estupinan. Physical, solid, quick, great forward motor, good ability with the ball.
