I’d take all of them before Toney.

I’m even thinking about taking a punt on someone like Kolo Muani who had a bad year at basket case PSG but has everything we need.
Kolo Muani doesn't like playing the 9, though. He ain't an out & out striker and not a great finisher either...ask Martinez.

He prefers being out on the right. I reckon he'd fare better than Kulu in Big Ange's system, he's got pace to spare and he can pick a pass. Probably would put up better stats than BJ too.

Vanderson is good enough to be more than Porro's backup and that's a good thing...you want your starters to really feel challenged.

But personally I'd prefer that Gray kid from Leeds. Sure, he's less of a threat to Porro in the short term, but give it a season or two tops and I reckon he puts the Spaniard on the bench. And he's English.
I would imagine he thinks he is Scottish , might be wrong but Eddie Gray was s Scottish legend .

Sure there is. He scored 20 league goals for Brentford which is more than Richarlison has ever managed in his entire footballing career.

Toney holds the ball up better, his fundamentals are better (first touch, running with the ball etc) and he's just generally easier on the eye. Finishing wise neither are particularly good, Richarlison was decent last season in this regard but was behind xG the 3 seasons prior.

Toney would take penalties as its an asset he adds and I'd wager most would prefer to play alongside him as he can do the footballer stuff.

If you watch a compilation of Toney’s goals for Brentford, he does all kinds of finishes. It is why I quite like him as a player. So I’m not sure I agree with you there.

All the links are bullshit. The club doesn't leak like a sieve any more and agents are just trying to scope the options.
Yep.

I foresee many more Van de Ven/Vicario/Maddison/Bergvall transfer sagas.

Far fewer Dragusins and Kanes (though obviously Kane is unique case).

Basically there will be well known ones where we show interest and then move, but there won't be as many sagas. I do like the way the club operates though it's far more boring for us at home

In what world are Newcastle selling one of their best players to a team they would see themselves as trying to rival?

It would take silly money to achieve that. Some of you need to stay off the drugs. Or take your medication.
This world.

Eddie Howe has revealed that the £100million ($123.2m) release clause in Bruno Guimaraes' Newcastle United contract is only active until June 30.

Never seen him play but the more research I do the more I like Marmoush.

He's good, man. Exciting player. Brave, creative, bit maverick even...defo not risk averse. The type that whenever he picks up the ball, you just feel something is gonna happen...and more often than not, it does. Polar opposite to Kulu, who ain't a winger, I'll die on that hill!

But if we did want him, better hurry cause my pal in Germany (who supports Union Berlin) tells me Leverkusen and Dortmund have been eyeing him for a while and could make their move this summer. Can never discard RBL either...who will likely lose Xavi Simons and who are already orphans of the great Timo.

I think he’d work for us because he can play 9, RW and even LW.

Ange seems to want them to be fluid and able to swap. And we don’t need a traditional #9 in the same way, he’s got the tekkers to receive under pressure, keep it and as you say, pick a pass.

He was a very good finisher before PSG. I think there’s a player in there.

Muani is a speed demon doesn't have any of isaks technical ability at all

Disagree mate, he’s really Fucking skilled. If you watched PSG you maybe didn’t see it but before this season I’d have said RKM was ahead of Isak in almost every way. I think he could get back to that. There was a reason we were rumoured to see him as a Kane replacement.

Liverpool sniffing around as well.

Seems like a player that Spurs fans would think isn’t an ambitious signing then turns into a VDV to prove everyone wrong

That I don't think signing a Danny Ings/Ivan Toney is what puts us over the edge and winning silverware?

Or are you saying he's better than Ings? I'd challenge you to produce evidence of that.

How do you want me to bring you evidence that Ivan Toney is better than Danny Ings, look at their scoring records over the past few seasons, actually watch matches, there's levels between them.

What a weird comparison.

Also all this we need a top striker to put us over the edge and win silverware is so overplayed - Woolwich literally played Havertz as a ST and were literally a game away from winning the league, Liverpool played Nunez up front all season who couldn't hit a barn door and ended up winning a cup and mounting a title challenge.

In fact go and look at our rivals strikers (apart from City) they're all have major flaws to their game, I'm convinced people have just been spoilt by having Kane in the team for so long to the point that they think that we're gonna have him replaced with a direct comparison to him.

A striker in our system doesn't even need to be that great anyway, just needs to be able to convert and hold the ball up, Richy got what 11 goals last season and how many of them did he need to create himself, probably 1, most of his goals he was just in the right position to put them away and Toney is a better striker than Richarlison.
