Management One Hotspur Membership

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Was thinking of getting a membership again for me and the missus for the coming season. I know the prices are steep but thought what the hell, YOLO.

Upon closer inspection its basically 90 quid for a category A game and 45 quid per membership.

I actually cant bring myself to sanction these prices. I'm an accountant and the missus is a doctor. We arnt exactly on the breadline. If we cant afford it, who the fuck is going to games these days and what are they sacrificing to get tickets?

This ownership are just a bunch of greedy cunts taking advantage of loyal supporters. It makes me so angry we are priced out.

I don’t think 45 quid for a membership is that steep Tbf.

I’m a season ticket holder and the cost works out at about £57 if you average it out over 19 games.

The cat A games are definitely expensive but if you think of it of an average of £57 a game over the season it doesn’t feel so bad.

Its not the membership, but the tickets thats the problem.

Cat A is bad enough at roughly 90 quid a ticket, Cat B works out 75 ish. Add in travel and food its not cheap.

I suppose at least we have europa and cup games. Last season we got knocked out of cups early doors so that fucked up the cheapskates like me.

Genuine question, what do you think is a fair price for a top premier league game in London?

Say Man City or Woolwich at home.

I’ve had a season ticket for years so the cost is just something I sort of always know is coming every month/year.

Well whats the average wage these days? I dunno 40-50 quid?

Everything about this club just screams money grabbing. Most expensive tickets, most pricing categories, most cat A and least cat C games. Cant be arsed to fund these wankers anymore.

We are going the same way as America. Concessions being phased out and ticket prices continually rising. And people will pay it.

Like you, I can afford it but refuse to be mugged off anymore.

I might do a handful of games next season. Not in any rush though.

Definitely don’t agree with the phasing out of concessions. No need for it

Saying that, tickets for everything have gone up massively the past few years. The last gig I went to the tickets were £86!

Levy is a disgrace by the way penalising OAPs concessions. 40 or 50 years ploughing hard earned money into the club and levy drops them. No trophies to show either. Run as a business and exploitation as well.

Mine was on autorenew as was Spurs play.

Must make a diary note for next season.
Just too expensive. Might go to a europa league, carabao or fa cup match. Couple of family members are season ticket holders so push come to shove can get a ticket. Staggered last season when i looked online for a home ticket. 737 quid or something like that. Can go to spain or canaries for a week paying that sort of money. Scandalous ticket prices.

Given the price of theatre tickets, concerts, national trust days out, theme parks, zoos etc I don't think ticket prices are massively unachievable, especially if you go high up in a corner.

If you want to be at front of the upper tier in line with the center circle watching us play Woolwich, I also don't think £120 or whatever is beyond what anyone could expect to be paying.

What I take more issue with is the few quid booking fee. A sly way of bringing in extra 10s of thousands of pounds each match day. There is no reasonable justification for that other than pure greed.

A day out at Spurs can be miserable, wet and cold, boring, dull even in recent years.. or can be a wonderful experience. Maybe 1 in 3 games would I say the experience justifies the ticket price, which quite frankly isn't enough.

People in London are relatively high earners compared to the rest of the UK and I doubt Chelsea, West Ham or Woolwich fans enjoy massively cheaper ticket prices, especially for good seats.

120 quid for 90 minutes football defies economies of scale imo. That dont include drink, travel and food either. Imo ticket prices are a pisstake.

Well it's definitely more than an exact, clinical 90 minutes of football.

There's getting to the ground probably 1hr before kick off, the buzz around the place, the smell of hot dogs cooking, maybe a couple of pints in the local pubs, probably a total of 2-3 hours inside the stadium on average, the half time guest if that's your thing, chatting to other Spurs fans - and after a big win, the atmosphere on the concourse and all the way down the high road.

You pay over 100 quid for the big games in the best seats. You could go to the same game for like £60 if you sat in the corner.

Got lucky a few seasons ago paying on ticket exchange in premium lounge for 79 quid. Touch that was but lucky i got that. Think we won as well. If you win makes it more worthwhile.
