Terrible move by pep.
If we wait is definitely not in our hands. If we go in and get Tel now, they might not have to sell DeLight or Davies.Yeah,
I think De Ligt and Alphonso Davis might leave too so it's not necessarily in our hands yet.
wait and see.
Saudi seems to be hoovering up PL talent. Beginning to piss me off.£2 billion pounds, retroactively applied to past seasons to cover the FFP breaches.
When the Kane deal was negotiated though Tel was the player they said don’t even bother asking. Kimmich would be good but he would want to be guaranteed to start. If we wait is definitely not in our hands. If we go in and get Tel now, they might not have to sell DeLight or Davies.
Cryuff made him play right wing at Barcelona. Didn’t rate him apparently.
No because the game doesn’t always play out that way. So many times when it goes up to our centre forward whoever it may be it comes straight back. We also need a striker that can create something out of nothing for themselves. I actually can’t think of a goal last season that our centre forward beat a player with skill and scored out of nothing. For as much as Toney is not everyone’s cup of tea he does bring those attributes. I’m not against him because he’s completely different to what we have.Given our propensity to blast low crosses in don't we just need a tap in merchant?
Better to spend £160 and keep Richarlison. As much as people want him gone, I bet he's still here in September. And for good reason, too, because we need depth. In:
Gyökeres 80
Eze 60
Chiesa 25
Locko 20
Gray 40
225
Out:
Richarlison 60
Gil 8
Lo Celso 13
Solomon loan
Reguilon 8
Royal 18
137 (sale of parrot, Hojbjerg, rodon included)
We would have invested less than a 100 Million and would go places
We just don’t need them they are not game changers, not even an improvement on what we have already, one is injury prone and the money could be spent elsewhere. Just get eze who can play in a midfield 3, #10 or wide attacking. He improves our starting 11 considerably. Ramsey and CG do not and don’t offer the same attacking skills as eze. Then get a CF. That is what we need not more mediocrity.Ange would have to shoulder his fair share of responsibility if he prioritises the likes of Ramsey or Gallagher over a striker.
All N'Dombele had to do was have ONE good season and we'd all be laughing!Saudi seems to be hoovering up PL talent. Beginning to piss me off.
Cant decide whether PL clubs are benefitting from selling washed up stars for fortunes or stealing our best players.
This is it his already made it known we need to improve our attack yet the club or whoever is running the show just seem to be interested in more midfielders. We don’t need more. Said in another post eze, CF abd wide forward like Neto. I’d still take him as we can manage his game time and he is quality. We don’t have a technical skillful player like him.Nobody knows if Ange actually wants these players. The only thing I’ll be totally pissed off with Ange is if he thinks our front players can take him where he wants to go. To be fair to him he has said on numerous occasions he wasn’t happy with the attacking side of things. If we don’t get a striker minimum then it’s just accepting mediocrity.
Agreed - good post1. Not if you make Biss sit deep and feed ball off early
2. Bergvall is a big, strong guy for his age who doesn't look like a pussy and doesn't strike me as lazy.
3. Both berg and eze are not likely to hand the ball over to the oppo like we loved to do last season from the middle of the park, which = less scrambling back on tunrovers.
4. Maddison's best area of operation last season was in the forward left zone. I will stand by that. It was where he did his best work at the beginning of the season, striking up a good relationship with udogie.
5. This is the "sort of thing", as stated.
My main point is level of QUALITY.
Still, if you play that lot right and have one FB off and one on, it's cooking.
Depends how you tweak it.
I’d be happy with that 3. There is no affordable CF if we need to also get an attacking midfielder like eze.Keep selling off the duffers.
Eze, Tony, Neto in.
Then Ange can talk about winning things and not sound like a LARPer.
I’d have Spence ahead of him in that FB role all day long. You can see the way Spence controls and dribbles with the ball he is a baller. To leave? Royal ideally as there’s always a chance he comes into the side at some point otherwise. I don’t think any of the others will get much of a chance regardless of injury crisis
Wow that is my ideal like up. You could swap Lucas for MADDs in midfield and have Sonny left wing. But yeah that is what I’d like too!---Vic--This would be a good foundation for a new era of winning, under Ange.
---Porro----Romero----VDV---Udogie---
---Bissouma---
---Bergvall-------------Eze---
---Neto------------Tony--------Maddison---
Anything other than this sort of thing, isn't really serious.
And we're just doing a whole load of talking (as usual).
Fitter players than Neto have suffered with injuries for longer, under Ange. This is it his already made it known we need to improve our attack yet the club or whoever is running the show just seem to be interested in more midfielders. We don’t need more. Said in another post eze, CF abd wide forward like Neto. I’d still take him as we can manage his game time and he is quality. We don’t have a technical skillful player like him.
