I think you’re spot on with this.
Explains why we’re moving at sloth speed as well I think. Eze as others have mentioned will need to have his release clause triggered which will be a lot of money up front - probably why we’re haggling so hard with Milan for Royal.
Gallagher - Chelsea would ideally not want to sell to us and will jack the price up if they do - so we’re playing the waiting game.
Neto - Wolves want big money but are likely to be more desperate at the end of the window
I’m not saying any of this is a good plan and we’ve all seen us shit the the transfer window bed multiple times before. I do believe these are the targets though.

Get him in and the window is a 6 or 7. Loads of dross cleared, 1 senior player that gets in the first 11 and can play a couple of positions. Decent crop of young players emerging and bought - you’d expect at least a couple to make it.
