Now do the same with the other strikers on the market, you'll probably get the same results.

Just think that's why nobody is getting excited. Its potentially a "good" signing but no clear evidence to suggest it would be a "great" signing.

If we had the sway and impetus, the names of attackers that come to mind who dont already play for top, top teams that would excite fans might include:

- Osimhen
- Martinez
- Raphael Leao
- Kvaraschkelia
- Nico Williams
- Eze (exciting for some)
- Neto (exciting for some)

None of them would look out of place playing for Liverpool or City when fully fit

What is he not good at?

Finishing? Can do pretty much every finish you need. Great in the air.

Movement? Really good movement in behind and in the box. Gets on the end of the exact chances we ttry to create.

Hold up? Has all the tools and technicals

Passing? Decent passing CF. Not Kane but who is.

He’s a good fit for the way we play no doubt.
Can see us going to £40 and no more which probably won’t be enough if that is who we end up going for??

Question- would you prefer Toney or Solanke?
Solanke is the more rounded player. Technically better with the ball at his feet. Can dribble, run in behind but also hold it up back to goal. Good feet in the box, hard worker off the ball.

Toney is a static focal point for a team that goes more direct. I’m fairly sure he would flop here . His all round game and lack of mobility will get noticed more if we were watching him every week.

Think Solanke would do well in this team he’s just not a fancy name and he struggled at Liverpool and early on at Bournemouth so can see why people are not keen or they’re jumping on the bandwagon.

If we can’t get Gyrokeres he’s the next best option imo.

Well seeing as we're talking about strikers we can rule out the majority of players on that list.

You seem to have got aboard that hype train very quickly after posting his YouTube highlights reel 😎
You can check back my posts I've said Solanke is better option than Toney for a while.

I'm probably coming off more hyped up than I really am because Spurs fans really piss me off with shit reactions to a signing because it's not a sexy name. Just trying to persuade some to think rationally about it.

This is the kind of take I have on it.
