Highest match day revenue in the land. .✅

8th richest club in the world. .✅

Highest boardroom salaries in Europe. .✅

Largest FFP wriggle room in History. .✅

Sell star striker for £100milion. .✅

Replace with Dominic Solanke. . ✅ ? .:levylol:

How many games did you see him play last season?

What kind of front man role was he playing for Bournemouth last season?

What do you think he could improve on?

What do you think are his best attributes?

I mean I kind of get it that Solanke is a late bloomer and before last season he would never have been on our radar but strikers often have their best seasons late in their career and Solanke is a sensible striker option for a load of reasons.

Especially in the current market.

He know the prem and has just blossomed there playing for Bournemouth.

Much less of a risk and more of a good fit for the system than other names I've heard too.

Market is crazy because clubs like villa and Chelsea are manipulating fees and engaging in football fraud to get around ffp rules, academy players going for unbelievable money. Football gets more corrupt every yr and the prem league sit on their hands for fear of a super league, unless you are an everton or forest, while corrupt cnuts like city and Chelsea get away with whatever they want.
Still Solanke probably an upgrade on Richy, at least he stays fit, but going from Kane to either while paying Levy's extortionate prices is a scandal.

Just buy Eze and Neto and we use son, richy, lankshea (europe run outs) this season as CF options.

Then buy a quality 6 and CF next summer and tune up rest of the squad to complete the core rebuild.

Don't waste that sort of money on solanke ffs.

It's criminal.

Brennan (50M) Solanke (60M)... nah, I'm not fucking having it.

Solanke is a much much better fit for the way we play.

His pressing numbers don't surprise me either. Tbh I'm at the stage of trying not to get too invested as opposed to trying to persuade myself to want him.

So why have waited till last few weeks of transfer window to apparently show our interest. His had one good season. Where is the data led approach. He will be 27 in September. He will cost over £60M. We could get see for that money. Is he much better than Richy who cost £60M himself. Between them two and Johnson that would £170M and forward line would still be worse than most of the top half teams. Could we not find a younger player here or abroad for less money or the same but better player. Alvarez is looking for a move. We could prbly get Toney for half the price only one year older. Where is Ange’s talk about we have a plan and we are sticking to it. What his boast about going for the title. This guy is dippers reject and now we think he will help catch them and city up. No this is pure spurs wasting money again bco s the club have dithered, showed no ambition, have no clue what they are doing and now panicking.
