Ha ha!

But why is it a Choi e betw just those two if are gonna by a CF. There must be other players out there which the data team could have analysed..why wait till now they have all summer to get him if that is who they wanted. It’s pure BS from the club and Ange “we have plan and we are going to challenge for the league” bollocks!
So why have waited till last few weeks of transfer window to apparently show our interest. His had one good season. Where is the data led approach. He will be 27 in September. He will cost over £60M. We could get see for that money. Is he much better than Richy who cost £60M himself. Between them two and Johnson that would £170M and forward line would still be worse than most of the top half teams. Could we not find a younger player here or abroad for less money or the same but better player. Alvarez is looking for a move. We could prbly get Toney for half the price only one year older. Where is Ange’s talk about we have a plan and we are sticking to it. What his boast about going for the title. This guy is dippers reject and now we think he will help catch them and city up. No this is pure spurs wasting money again bco s the club have dithered, showed no ambition, have no clue what they are doing and now panicking.
If his that good why didn’t we buy him two seasons ago instead of richi? Also if he is really the one he should have been signed up first day of the transfer window. After Werner’s loan was done days after season end like they couldn’t wait to announce it. Is solanki the game changer? What is he not good at?
Finishing? Can do pretty much every finish you need. Great in the air.
Movement? Really good movement in behind and in the box. Gets on the end of the exact chances we ttry to create.
Hold up? Has all the tools and technicals
Passing? Decent passing CF. Not Kane but who is.
Clinical finishing after just one good year in top flight at the age of 26?Not without penalties they aren't. Solanke is just a better fit for how we play and a solid human being. Pressing striker with great movement and clinical finishing.
Didn’t he miss a hatful of chances when they played us at home I think? Wasn’t very clinical then!
Honestly didn't realise until you laughed at it
Your opinion you stick with the forwards we have even though Ange said we needed to improve it. Although he then contradicts all that by agreeing loan for Werner again. He has approved timo x 2, BJ, veliz, Solomon and now may be solanki. Add in richi and kulu. Do any of them get into city, goons, dippers, toon, villa even spams front line.
I’d like to see who he scored against last season. Is he gonna be another who can only do it v bottom half teams. Do we have £65M to waste / spend on someone who may be a little bit better than richi? He went 30 hours ! And 17 hours of football without a goal at different stages!![]()
19 only once though not like he is a proven goal scorer. We signed a "player like Solanke" a few seasons ago, decent pressing forward from a lower half club, name's Richarlison I believe. He never scored 19 goals in the Prem though.
You can check back my posts I've said Solanke is better option than Toney for a while.
I'm probably coming off more hyped up than I really am because Spurs fans really piss me off with shit reactions to a signing because it's not a sexy name. Just trying to persuade some to think rationally about it.
This is the kind of take I have on it.

Old Richard has completely gone over board into him60+ mill on a purple patch would be quite something.
Even for us.
Really strange club and fanbase.
We don't have CL, but we have the London, training facilities and stadium pull. If they wanted to get it done, I'd be surprised if he rejected it.wont happen but if we actually could get alvarez the place would be buzzing. would be the biggest statement signing since klinsmann.
if we had CL football we might of had a slim chance.

Just read he’s on 100k per week.Nah he's already won the CL...
... and the EPL, FA Cup, Club World Cup, Copa Libertadores, CONMEBOL-UEFA Cup of Champions, Uefa Supercup, Supercopa Argentina, Argentine Primera División, and Argentinian Cup...
... not to mention the Copa América and World Cup...
... but never the EUFA Europa League.
Clearly looking for a new challenge!
If Werner could finish he'd be outstanding in this system, unfortunately his legs turn to jelly when he gets near the goals.People's opinions on Neto are so interesting, considering he basically has the exact strengths and weaknesses of Werner, but is much more injury prone.
