My thoughts on the end of season collapse and Ange have been posted many times over and whilst new season, new chance etc there has to be an air of concern from the board.I think the obvious difference comparing them to us, is under Arteta the higher ups feel incredibly stable as a club with him at the helm? Whilst with Ange there's still so much unknown. I think if Ange could keep us in top 4 for the next two years and perhaps more importantly, win us some silverware, then I think.........things could change?![]()
He was backed more extensively (financially) last year and that is so far NOT the case this time. I'm sure things are happening behind the scenes etc and I'm not panicking. However Poch was given a huge wedge before ultimately being canned and if there's any uncertainty from Levy that Ange might not be the one after all, he's going to be hesitant with the cash. After all, if the trigger is pulled the next guy may have players not suited and we are right back to 2019 again. I hope that's not the case as we have to break this cycle.
