Solanke looks most likely, fits the way we play, English, in form , plays most games, not ideal but better than Richy or likes of Toney.

Prefer Eze to Neto, purely on goals/assists and fitness levels.

Still think we need a Fabian Ruiz type in the middle, who can control the game, experienced and provide a shield for back 4 and lead out new young guns.

Sub keeper and left and right back cover as well.

Why is Solanke not ideal?

I don't get it... we are not going to spend 100m for the next market up

Ok Wise Guy. What about buying Solanke for 65 million do you rate as a good buy.

Roma bought Artem Dovbyk for +-38 million Euro. (One of the top goal scorers in La Liga)

Same as the Johnson Buy. We spent 50 million on him when Woolwich spent R25 million on Trossard.

Sorry but buying Solanke will not take us to league winning form. I suppose some drool at every player we linked with.

Tammy Abraham scored more than Solanke last season for Roma, ( you know Tammy who couldn't get a gig in the PL). Should we have brought him?

Given the choice of Woolwich or Spurs most players would at this moment in time choose CL footue and Woolwich.

Buying Solanke may indeed not turn us into a PL winner, but in all fairness unless we can find half a billion pounds down the back of Levy's office sofa then perhaps Solanke isn't too shabby a buy.

I actually think Abraham would have had a similar/greater output in terms of G/A than Richarlison to be honest, he did bag 15 league goals in one season for the chavs when he was starting for them under Frank, who knows what he could have ended up being if he had been at a team who believed in him instead of seeing him as an accounting asset because of the lack of cost offsetting associated with paying a transfer fee for a player. Should have made the jump back to England after his first successful season at Roma, alas he has now fallen by the wayside there in favour of Dybala. A lot of wasted potential in there I think. Might come back to England and surprise some at an Ipswich or Southampton type club on the come up.
