Look, I’m not a “Levy is Beelzebub” camp but this should be his chance to shine. Everyone else is fucked by PSR/FFP, We’ve got huge FFP margins, are now one of the most profitable clubs in Europe and will be for the foreseeable and are fucking miles behind the top 2/3 teams. We have one of the lowest salary to turnover ratios in the league.

I still don’t expect a Chelsea-easque 1bn spending spree, but this is a genuine opportunity to close the gap. Make 3/4 really good signings whilst others are hamstrung.

If ever there was a time to just nudge the riskometer up from 10% to 40% this is definitely it imo.

I think you make a good point but it does seem like a deadly quiet market at the moment - there needs to be a couple of 'food chain' transfers which get some momentum going, doesn't exonerate us but it adds a bit of context as to why it's a bit 'all quiet on the Tottenham front'.

He can’t be stupid enough to think he’s going to play much. Deki in front of him as a centre forward now,Sonny probably preferred there to him and the likelihood is we are bringing in a striker. Lankshear has also showed he might be able to play a part. Its maybe the middle east he won’t fancy but that’s the only place we’ll get decent money for him.

Have had a sneaky suspicion all summer that the club and Richy know that he will struggle to stay fit in Prem intensity. If you are Richy and you like contributing loads of money to your community back home, why would you not want to earn loads in Saudi and maybe prolong your career a bit?

If we sell Richie, are we simply going to be replacing him? I thought the idea was to strengthen the squad by adding to and thereby improving the attacking options.
