Okay mate, I’ve not been here long but have in that short amount of term already learnt your a complete joke here that has a little clique that brown noses Levy at every turn.

I’ve trod in things that I have respected more than your opinion
Keep bigging up one of our biggest rivals on a spurs forum then. West Ham - phwoar…

Also it’s « you’re ».

To be honest, I’ve only the bandwidth to worry about us getting in our targets and how much this utter dilly-dallying might cost us in the first few weeks of the season.

If I’m going to have a melty (and I reserve the right to do so at the end of the window) , it’s not because a perennially mid-table club, having signed the illustrious Max Killman, are making eyes at a center-half that we overlooked last year and who has, so far, made it clear that he would rather blind himself with a rusty fork than end up in Stratford.
That was then, this is now - even the player seems tired of Juve not wanting to pay up.

I’m not melting down, it’s just an observation - West Ham are having a decent window, we’ve signed Archie Gray, another kid that won’t play for at least 2 years and then added Werner who is somewhat underwhelming. No meltdown, just facts

Bigging up????

What is going on here - why is a rational argument not allowed. These aren’t binary options of slagging West Ham off or Bigging them up and you’re one side of the fence or the other.

The point is simple - they have improved their first 11 this summer already and look to be adding to that - we have not done similar. It stands to reason then they have closed the gap at least partially.

Please don’t lump me in with the hysterical poster claiming Soucek gets in our side - I am not insane

I’m not suggesting you are. I’m speaking for myself.

But look at the absolute tit who’s suggesting that somehow we (or perhaps one of the eighteen other clubs) can’t allow another team to have a transfer as if we should blow another 40m plus on another CH to stop it. I’m sure Toribo would be happy to be 3rd or 4th choice.to play here.

Really, it’s laughable.

I agree that and the Soucek comment were hysteria.

At the same time though, and I don’t include you in this, there are posters who are quick to dismiss anything that might paint the club or our position negatively and then upvote each other

Kudus, Fullkrug, Todibo, Paqueta would really improve us. Not fussed about the rest of them though.
Ah, a balanced and fair post.

Certainly (along with Bowen) they would improve our squad but I don’t know how many (other than Paqueta, maybe Kudus) would be first team picks. And Paqueta could easily have been picked up by City this window if it wasn’t for the cloud he is under.

A rational argument is allowed.

Where does « levy is more interested in the hotel game? » fit into that?

The pikeys willing to spend money to improve their side while we sit about wanking in the corner over go karting is the final nail in the coffin surely

Champagne pockets, lemonade tastebuds
Yeah, West Ham smashed us once again this summer!

Melters will complain, I'm sure.

But you've got to respect a guy who seemingly loves the club rejecting what will likely be more money then he'll ever see in his life to stay here and want to achieve stuff.

Especially knowing the manager has specifically said he wants a striker.

Brazil

That is why he won't be going to Saudi, but few can see through him.

Injuries is why he won't be going to Leicester by the way.

But don't worry, he's very good at that Pidgeon walk, the one he did at least eight times last season.

Signing Bergvall and Dragusin had Lange in heavy credit with me, but I’m starting to think he’s another guy woefully out of his depth. His CV is a questionable, Villa booted him to a glorified teaboy when they got Monchi.

Same with Munn. Promoted to apparently running a PL football club from cocking about working in some random role for Man City on the other side of the world. How’d he even get the job?
