If we did, my guess is that we dropped out because we couldn't see how to easily free up a squad place with Richarlison still here - and its difficult to loan out or sell Richarlison when he's not played in pre-season. So its a squad places problem rather than money per se

Not mega pleased with solanke signing but its a fairly decent signing and quite clever. Hes 26 so in the years upto 30 we still have lankshear, veliz, devine who can make it to first team.
