Lads, what do we think is going on with Madders? Up until the Chelsea game last year he looked like a PL POY candidate.
Now he’s offering very little and really struggling to influence the game.

Had more control of gsme 2nd half and not so kamikaze. We have a great squad imo and youngsters. Top 4 and trophy for me please.
vic is fine when he goes long. but yea he defo trys to do what hes been told too when he needs to use his initiative and just go long. theres times that you can tell its really not safe to play out and its just self harm.
udogie defo gave up the chance to pass to werner and tried to do it himself and it cost us what could of been a chance had he passed. if they are refusing to pass to him thats a big problem. by the way, udogie is hardly perfect! hangs on the ball too long for my liking.
2nd half midfield were miles ahead of the 1st half group.

Think its one of best squads weve had since peak poch.
It’s simple really. He’s no where near as good as people make out. He’s built like a 16 year old kid ffs. Kimmich and the rest of the Bayern midfield just rag dolled and flicked him away like an annoying fly. Technically he’s a good player but he seriously needs to get himself into the gym and do some weight training. He’s doing my nut in seeing him fall to the ground and people just brushing him off.
Defence were good as gold in the 2nd half.
Moore looks a year or so off the physical development needed, this season might be one too early to nail the role. The brain and skill looks great though.

I can only speak for myself and discounting that it's pre-season only goes so far. We've been conceding the same sorts of goals we did last year in all the games, with set pieces and the defence being exposed a huge worry.
Granted this was the first time Romero and Micky played, but it still happened when they played last year.
For me, it's clear we just aren't learning. Making mistakes is fine, it's how you learn. But when you don't learn it's criminal.
It definitely should not be Son.
