Keeping hold of Richarlison as well as having Solanke might make a difference in a season where European games if we do well will make the league and domestic cups a slog.
yea he attacks space aggressively but i feel his end product is lacking. once youve seen one udogie attack it feels like you seen them all, not much depth to his game.I’m not the biggest Udogie fan because he’s a lazy defender and but when going forward he can attack the space more aggressively at times. There’s also times when he’s at it I don’t see anyone better in that position. Hopefully he can be more consistent and see more that Udogie.
Hard disagree. He’ll be in the team rotation come December.Moore looks a year or so off the physical development needed, this season might be one too early to nail the role. The brain and skill looks great though.
Why not? Was Mainoo ready before Ten Hag threw him in?Frustrating game. We did some good things in the first half but defended like Keystone cops. We were so much better in the second half. The youngsters made a big difference.
I'm fucked if I know what team to put out against Leicester. Kids impressing pre-season gives a glimpse of how strong we can be in the near future but are they ready right now? I'm not so sure.
We do need to improve defensively, which includes midfield.
Solanke will, I think, be great for us but we still need a couple of new players, as others have pointed out.
So you believe Ange wanted Timo Werner? And you believe Ange believes Johnson is Good Enough and worth 50 million. You believe Ange wanted the number of youngsters we have, and didn't want an older, more experienced player bought? And you believe Ange decides who his coaching staff is?I think you spout a lot of shite, which I disagree with hence the disagree you plonker.
This - Someone has to tell him to stop kissing Levy's Arse - about Ange is nonsense which is why I gave you a disagree, although your pal and fellow plonker skywalker68 will probably agree with you.
They are two weeks behind us in terms of pre season also have a lot of young players. Not sure how many of their team are starters. However the main diff is the way they press and pass and move always finding a player in space. They don’t always have to beat 2/3 players to progress the ball upfield from defence to front. Whereas we could barely pass the ball through the team and only really had joy on some transitions and some lucky bounces. We played well in patches, but the simple truth is they’ve got better players than us all over the park. We’ve half pressed and they just get out of it pretty easily most of the time.
I believe Ange has forgotten more about football than you will ever know.So you believe Ange wanted Timo Werner? And you believe Ange believes Johnson is Good Enough and worth 50 million. If he did want any of the above, he definitely isn't good enough to be an EPL coach.
I evssid it before we just look as if it’s all off the cuff. There is no passing structures or phases of play. It’s ok when you play a low block as you have the ball and it’s easy to roll it around 2 miles an hour. However in both games v BM you can see how easy it is for them to progress the ball forward but we struggle. No idea.
Maddison is clearly dropping deep to try and develop play. Biss is reasonably defensive. Sarr is just running around.
We don’t look especially well drilled.
Mate there’s so many passing movements in our game from back to front but it breaks down in the final third.I evssid it before we just look as if it’s all off the cuff. Well I think Alfie and donley didn’t see any minutes. Moore came on later. He plays skip who we are trying to flog sure Alfie should have been given a go. Also why play kulu RW after HT when we know what he can do there? Why not give Moore the full 45 mins.Ive no interest in this game other than seeing our kids get minutes against decent oppo.
Season is a write off
We can see that, defending isn't worked on in training. The defending for all 3 of those goals was absolutely abysmal.
No today in the first half it broke down in our own half a lot of times. We never got the ball forward enough bcos of the stupid tactic where everyone is inside. Posted earlier that when we have the ball in midfield if the player looks up he’ll find no one out wide most of the time. Johnson especially completely hid a lot. Was no where to be seen on the right touch line.Mate there’s so many passing movements in our game from back to front but it breaks down in the final third.
Thank You for clarifying. I didn't know he was dealing with Dementia.I believe Ange has forgotten more about football than you will ever know.
