We were never going to sign 5-6 players that can make a difference to the starting 11. Where do these expectations come from?
If a team makes 3 signings in a window that immediately changes their starting 11, that's significant movement.

What he is good at is running the commercial side of the club, he is a trash can fire in negotiations. I bet most football chairman, when they walk into the room and see Levy there, I bet there first thought is “okay, how is he fucking me” the bloke at his local corner shop probably feels exactly the same when flogging him a pint of milk

I doubt very much he has any impact on scouting or compiling targets.
But negotiations for transfers isn’t staying away from the football side of things. Who knows how many of our top targets he’s killed off for being too expensive to do the deal.
