The season starts this weekend & we’ve only made 1 signing which will make a difference to the first 11. We needed about 5/6 players this summer & as usual it looks like Levy will leave the squad short once again.

Meanwhile we need to stop letting Lange work in silence, those voices in his head clearly aren’t helping him make the right decisions for the club.

We didn't need 5/6 players for the first team though, that's for the squad - so in that respect we've added 3 new signings, so couple of players short at the moment. Spence looks to have negated the need for a RB signing many would have wanted last season, Moore & potentially Lankshere will add depth also - so you paint it as needing 5/6 and we've only added 1 when that is far from the case

I know it's their job and they've got to write something..

But I find these "summaries" being written by journalists about Tottenham's window so far and the plans for the rest it, to be less than worthless.

The press knew nothing about the deals for Archie Gray and Yang Min-hyuk before they were essentially on their way for the medical. Solanke wasn't mentioned really as an option before we were close to getting the deal done. And they can't mention any credible targets that we're interested in...

But somehow they have detailed insight into every thought process everyone involved at the club has had this summer?

Season can’t start quick enough now - the week before the kick off is always the shittest. Bored of all the hypotheticals and transfer window attention seekers making up utter bollox, let’s just get on with it and then rejoice/mown on deadline day before putting all this bollox behind us for months.

Roll on Leicester

Just take a look at the response on here alone. That's their end game, engagement from those who are desperate for some insight.

The media stopped worrying about truth and integrity a long time ago, their sole purpose now is engagement for profit. They understand that the truth is now irrelevant, as people will believe what they want to believe.

Pretty good stop gap

That’s an oxymoron if ever I’ve heard one..

Also, isn’t Werner the stop gap winger until Moore develops?

Let’s be honest here, if we really are looking at Coman, Levy has fucked the negotiations on all of our preferred targets and we are in panic mode.

Stop gap in the sense he's 28 - an experienced winger who improves the starting eleven and provides everyone with what they seem to crave from the wide position.

We don't know who any of our preferred targets were. We've heard news today Nico Williams was one we looked at and realised pretty sharp we had no chance and if we are to believe reports, Neto. Who we offered a pretty substantial amount for.

I don't particularly believe the Coman rumours though. I also don't think he'd make the step down in his career or take the wages we'd likely offer him (unless it's a loan)

You seemed to be on board with Chiesa.. Why not Coman?

To be honest, there's a real lack of great right wingers out there. Certainly available ones. There's ones with huge potential (but we signed one with potential for 50m last summer and have Moore) and there's experienced ones like Chiesa /Coman.

Who knows who we're after. The press certainly don't

I wasn’t on board with Chiesa at all.

I’ve never seen Coman play well either. This would be a desperate punt on a mercenary because we’ve fucked the deals we wanted to do,

Unless anyone is seriously suggesting we’ve been waiting all summer to do a loan deal for Kingsley fucking Coman, who Bayern have been desperate to get shot of ALL YEAR.

you and I are normally in agreement, but I think Coman would be a good move. Can play on both sides. He was injured quite a bit last year and is a little old in Football years, which is concerning, but the season before had 16 goal contributions. I used to watch a lot of Bayern and he was always a standout.
