If it's not ready for the whole season don't use it. It's not fair, like you said.
I swear that was the stance on all Ryle changes in the not too distant past.

Then they just started chopping and changing shit willy nilly during the season.

The handball bollocks sticks out, where we got screwed with a late penalty at home to Newcastle against Dier, then they went and amended it later in the season.

Don’t think that’s starting until October or so.

PL announcement: It is anticipated the technology will be ready to be introduced after one of the autumn international breaks.

And yes, I think it should be at the start of the season otherwise someone will get screwed (us) and someone will benefit (Liverpool, Woolwich) by a shit decision.
They will wait to fuck us over a few times before they roll out the Automatic offside! :ange-hands-head:

They've already confirmed that it's coming as soon as it's ready, like it or not.

Sort of looking forward to it being Monday.

It means I can watch all of the weekend matches without being pissed off at some point if we don't get a win. Starting with Man U on Friday, then the Scousers Saturday lunchtime (imagine the melting if they lose that), Spam v Villa Saturday evening (actually I don't really give a fuck about that one so may give it a miss) and then Chelsea with their new manager and a squad of 50 or something v City.

And then it's my birthday on Monday. They daren't not win, especially after we beat Man U on my birthday last season.

I think Solanke gets done in the next 10 days. I don't think he's going to be the striker we want, but I think he's going to be the one we get.

Think Biss starts on the bench now after the balloon fiasco. Otherwise, called this lineup before Solanke was even signed.

Can't wait now - new season in a few days time and we can watch Spurs games and chat shit after instead of just commenting on ITK bollocks about transfers and the euros all summer.

I think Maddison starts even though he is not looking great. His homecoming against Leicester and I can see Ange not wanting to start Bergvall in the opening game and instead use him off the bench..

I'm really hoping Madds is maybe just not the kind of player that really shines in preseason, maybe he's been giving 60% in friendlies, could he have done some rehab this summer for the injury he sustained in the Chelsea game maybe? In any event I'm really hoping for a big game from him, if he can start off with a good performance he probably will be fine, even if he gets another injury we have far better depth to replace him now so there won't be the same clamouring for his return that's bound to add pressure for you to instantly perform when you're probably rushed back early every time when you're a nailed on starter.

Largely agree with this apart from the bench - I do not see Forster playing again for us given he's been out a long time, his age, the fact we gave Austin a 5 year contract (and he played in pre-season), and that Forster is not suited to Ange ball - not very agile, not very good at 1-on-1's, and is also not very good with his feet.

This also shows how hard it will be for Mikey Moore to get minutes in the league this season, and why Devine, Phillips and Lankshear all need to head out on loan, and that Solomon, Lo Celso, Skipp, Reguillon should be urgently looking for new clubs (if they want to play at all this season). Especially if we do sign 1 or 2 more first team players (RWF, LB/LCB)

I agree that Fraser isn't the answer to any question however the big man hasn't played because he's injured.

Austin and Whiteman also aren't the answer.
