And fluffed them all but one. I thought Solanke's contribution was meh. Son was naff, Johnson awful. We created 5 good goal scoring chances against a team with 11 behind the ball.

I think we did against the bottom teams. We did fluff them but that’s very different to the tired nothing performances of last year. We weren’t creating chances then.
Tells you how bad things are. Not blaming him personally.
you think he was poor last night? i thought he looked decent. its hard for a striker to look world class when hes got son to his left and johnson to his right.
The Villa game is the outlier in our run in. And yes, you could argue it was naive of Villa to try and attack us. They didn't attempt to defend against Angeball at all.
It was 2-0 when McGinn got sent off. We scored twice in injury time. That game was the very example of it all clicking and working in favourable circumstances. It helped that Werner had a good game.![]()
He should have scored at least once. Had the same vibe with Richarlison. decent but nothing special. Our attack needs special.you think he was poor last night? i thought he looked decent. its hard for a striker to look world class when hes got son to his left and johnson to his right.
give solanke better service from wide areas and hell thrive. need dogs out wide who stick it on the fullbacks and suffocate them, and i mean actually put it on them and want to win the ball. not just close the distance then stand off a couple yards. cheisa would of been a good fit for this style of football.
tbf, there were probably a handful cheering for Leicester to win just so they'd gain confidence for when they play Woolwich
Have we not been preparing to face them for weeks and still couldn't muster up more than 1 goal nor a clean sheet?Just wrong.
Leicester had been preparing to defend us for weeks and still couldn’t get near us for an hour. We didn’t punish them and we paid for it. That’s football.
Nothing more nothing less.
No. I support Tottenham and have endured the ENIC era. And I watched most of the 1990s too. That was fun.you seem to be laughing hysterically with every reply....are you well dude?
We were 2 goals up and well on top of Villa before they went down to 10 men iirc.Losing to the "good" teams in the run in killed our chances of the top 4 though, which was in our hands once we spanked TEN MAN Villa.
I can never tell if you are taking the piss or not.![]()

he looks a far better footballer in general play than richy to me. i thought he only really had one decentish chance and the keeper made a save. that chance came from good midfield link up and coming through the middle. did he have any service from his wide forwards? He should have scored at least once. Had the same vibe with Richarlison. decent but nothing special. Our attack needs special.
But there aren’t are there. There isn’t one sane Spurs fan who wants Southgate. What’s worse is that there are Spurs fans who would rather that.

It's also the summer holidays and there are kids all over the place in my home.
Eh?Not the same point though is it?
Our system and game plan didn’t fail, the final execution of a finish let us down.
Yes, we were and scored twice in injury time which put some glitter on the scoreline. But that is the only time in 2024 that we've looked remotely dominant, outside of the Sheffield United game on the last day of the season. Hence, outlier. It's the anomaly result. We were 2 goals up and well on top of Villa before they went down to 10 men iirc.
I mostly alright about things. I have come to terms that it's 4th and cup cups, and knockouts of Europa.i hear you but its going to be a long old season with europa as well. I can promise you were going to have much better performances/results than last night against some top teams and mid teams, as well as some shocking performances that make you wanna smoke
but this is what we've chosen, it's the same under ever coach and will be the same when we are ready to sake off this mortal coil. spurs conceding a stupid goal and dropping points will probably be one of our final memories
best to just enjoy the good and let the bad get you too down
