He was shit today too...Wait people are knocking his performance today?? or are we still talking about the Leicester game?
You still here? The funny thing is Johnson is one of the most unaggressive players I've ever seen. He's so timid.
nah he definitely wasn't bad but I get there's an agenda with him in that people don't necessarily like his style of play thus say he's played shite when he hasn't.
He was poor vs Leicester. Today he was ok. But of confidence and he will be flying.nah he definitely wasn't bad but I get there's an agenda with him in that people don't necessarily like his style of play thus say he's played shite when he hasn't.
Against Leicester he was shite...today he was not.
Yeah, a lot of his play just screams of a player whose confidence is on the floor. He’s seems actively worried about controlling the ball which is a tell-tale sign.looks like he’s lacking in confidences as he’s overthinking a lot of situations but he’s still gives the team that ball in behind and can stretch the pitch.
A lot of it is aesthetics imo. Think he got in behind more than Odobert but people are more inclined for that kind of player. Needs to be better when he gets around the back definitely but a lot of that looks like nerves to me. At Forest he was more assertive in those areas.
Odobert is on another planet from him. His touch is sharp, gets at the full back, can go inside and outside and wants to play like a winger. Even when he passes it back or sideways it’s with a purpose. Johnson might not have the ability but he could play more aggressively with his runs. He’s a kid trapped in a man’s body. He plays like a 14 year old.The funny thing is Johnson is one of the most unaggressive players I've ever seen. He's so timid.

After the shit you’ve been posting, I guess you too embarrassed to go in any other thread?
Or was that your twin?

It’s getting to the point where we should consider getting rid of him.
If someone wants to come in and give us £30m for him, bite their hand off.
He is nowhere near good enough.
Ok bro. Keep up the great posts
Ange tried to build momentum for him against in theory far weaker sides before tougher matches against Newcastle and Woolwich. So he got big minutes so far. Irony is that BJ seems far more suitable against stronger opponents than low blocks, and we cooked his confidence just before we really need him. What ever our feelings we should support the player, he looks short on confidence and seems like he is forcing everything.
Ange will probably bench him at some point and that might be for his own good.
He has fantastic movement. Even in a poor game like today he managed to pop in the box and get a header from a good position which he put wide.Sincerely, what is he good at? I can't see anything that he excels in. Today we played one of the weakest sides in the league, everyone had a very good game bar him. He couldn't beat his man in any opportunity, couldn't control the ball in good positions lots of times, killing some good attacking oppotunities every time the ball reached him. Ok, he has good numbers from last season, but he's also a very big problem when he gets the ball, he ends up wasting opportunities most of the time. We need a player better than him if we want to compete seriously. If the guy fails to show up against Everton he won't do better against most of the teams.
