I thought I heard it was 12 days ( can't remember where I saw or heard that ) but would make him available for this game.

If Solanke is fit:
VicarioI think is what we'll see. Though I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Kulusevski starts in place of Sarr.
Porro - Romero - van de Ven - Udogie
Sarr - Bissouma - Maddison
Odobert - Solanke - Son
Need to be on this from the jump. Hate this fixture over the last few years. They are such a bad match for us stylistically. Can defend very well in a low block, but so so dangerous on the counter with the added capability of dominating the middle through Bruno and Joelinton.
I must admit, I see a defeat. Which isn't the end of the world. Newcastle will beat most teams here. I just don't want to see us cave in like we have done. I want us to really go for it until the end and fight for every ball.
Win would be unreal. Draw is more than acceptable. Just hate it's before an International break.
Tbf… it was 6-16 nil 2 years ago
4 nil 1 year ago
2 nil los this time and I'll be happy with the progression
Ah yesTbf… it was 6-1
How could forget Harry’s classic consolation
It it was at 5-0?
Dembele esque transformation for him in recent yearsWith no Europe and Joelinton back Newcastle will be a problem this season.
Kraft and Burn?
Before the last two seasons we had a great recent record against them. One defeat in 8 I think. This was the ONLY game (discounting the Chelsea debacle) which we lost last season when all four of our first choice defenders played (and stayed on the pitch).
There's something specific about us as a club and that ground, regardless of the manager or personnel we employ.
Ange was incredibly arrogant to have not even watched the 6-1 from the previous season and this is where the "we just play our game mate" came from when challenged about tactics and tailoring to the opposition.
Playing our A game against this lot is asking for trouble. Gordon in particular ran the space behind Porro all game. We have to be smarter this time. It won't happen though![]()
Isn’t Kelly in the team today?
“I got you, babe….”
