Wasn't one of the 1882 games at the old ground against Coventry in the cup ? Had blocks in the east stand.

And it starts with Spurs fans. 🤣

Anyway, tell these cunts to come back when they own their own stadium.
Does Mike Ashley still own it?

If so:

Must have been in the top 3 shittest grounds, the Dell, Plough Lane and Highfield Road.
After they redeveloped the Park End in the late 70's the away terrace at Goodison was dire.
Always tried to stand on the ledge at the back.
Was and still is a great ground to visit.
Cambridge '86 anyone? Walking through a field to get to the away end - and very similar to the Goodison view.
Wouldn't have missed it for the world though.

I have a friend who grew up in Cheshunt and supports Coventry due to their 1987 FA Cup win. He appears on podcasts and even has appeared on TV when they reached the play-offs.

He never fails to rib me about Tottenham…

So, nothing less than a 7-0 trouncing will do. Fuck ‘em up, Spurs.

I did Cambridge in 86 , a very quirky and memorable away evening. Vividly remember being at Everton in early eighties ( 83? ) when we lost 2-0 in the FA Cup ( the late Andy King scored one of them )The away end was absolutely rammed and it was the only time I recall being truly concerned for my safety- packed in like sardines and absolutely nowhere to go.
I loved the old Highfield Road stadium, a shit hole no doubt but full of character. I also enjoyed the Baseball Ground,Derby for similar reasons.
Been to the Ricoh a few times with a good friend of mine, sadly deceased, who supported Coventry- imo it is one of the better designed ‘modern’ stadiums and is fairly impressive.Really looking forward to my first visit there with Tottenham ( albeit no longer the Ricoh ) COYS.

The away seats at Everton before they built the new stand had a brilliant view. Felt like you were looking right over the goal. Was there when Everton paraded the fa cup in 1984. We stuffed them 4-1 first game of the season. Clive Allen and Chiedozie.
Top of the league with Everton all season then blew up at the end.

Was that the one where we lost to them 1-2?

And it really was a must win game!
